 Lake Mary Florida |  Subject: Reality Check (WAY OFF TOPIC)Well I am posting this way off topic thing today because if I put it out there then it will get out of my head. My ex bf and I are good friends. Tonight we were supposed to swim at the pool at the same time. The pool was filled with kids so we decided to go for calimari instead. We were talking about my upcomming move and I was telling him I thought it would be good but hard for me as I have had a really hard time getting over him. We were walking back to our cars and I made a joke about my being pathetic because it was taking me such a long time to get past all of this. Anyway, he laughed and told me I was not pathetic. Then he went on to say that he was the pathetic one. Here he was 32 years old and he had never been in love with anyone. How pathetic was that? I know he did not realize he was telling me he never loved me. It just came out of his mouth. I just stopped walking. I just started to cry. He realized what he had done. He tried to apoligize but how do you take that back. I just got in my car and came home. I guess I should be really glad I am moving. |

Sometimes people, men and women alike, say things without fully weighing the implications of their words. If you are moving to Florida to escape your pesent dilemma, that is not good. You just escape your feelings; they will be with you wherever you go. I can assure you though, having been through this same thing myself many times, that what you feel at the moment will fade to relative obscurity in a very short time. If, on the other hand, you are going to Florida because you have a job wating there, you have family there and you hate winter, then that is a different story. I hope that you enjoy it! |
