IM Louisville athlete tracker? (Page 2)

Good gravy, I took a big ol' nap and the athlete tracker is STILL all wanky! After refreshing about 15 time I finally got to see someone's splits... My girl Trish is past the 20 mile marker!!!!
 

Still nothing on Ironman.com, this is just ridiculous

This is annoying.  I just paid $600 for IMTX.  You would think when they take in at a minimum $1.2 million from their customers that they could provide a website that actually works.

How crazy is this..? All three of my training partners happened to cross the finish line within 5 seconds of each other!! I have a feeling they all ran together. Funny thing is none of them knew each other till we all started training this summer. Love this sport. Congrats to my girls Trish, Katy and Karlene

For the record, I was glued to the video because I saw Trish was past mile 25... could never pull up the other 2 on the tracker.

Does anyone know, is this the first time there have been 2 IM's on the same day? Is the site just overloaded? And another thing, Mike Reilly can not possibly be in Canada and Kentucky, which race is he at and who is announcing at the other? I would be so disappointed...

It's happened before but not with two live video feeds. Everyone needs to chill a bit.

Reilly was never an announcer at IMC (because it wasn't originally an NAS race?)  At any rate, for years they had a guy that was supposed to be very good, some controversy last year when WTC took over and he  wasn't asked back.  Or something like that.  THis is all from memory and could be all wrong

It's hard to chill when you're trying to watch friends finish their first IM and you have no idea how they are doing or where they are!

I think the frustration is valid. Espcially when Ironman advertises this as the way to see athletes finish remotely. It's not that there was a glitch for 5 minutes, it flat out didn't work ALL DAY. I still can't get ironman.com to work - 5 hours of trying.

Finally got thru!!  One person I was tracking finished, the other has passed the 20 mile mark but cutting it close on the time.

So who saw the ironman.com update?  The site experienced a cyber attack yesterday??

I would post a link to the article but I can never get links to work.  It's currently on the front page of ironman.com though.

I don't know about a cyber attack but the exact same thing happened last year when I was trying to watch a few friends finish  IMKY..I believe its because they are trying to show 2 IMs live at the same time. I was able to watch Canada without any problems, but IMKY kept going offline fortunately it was up when the people I was following crossed the line..but it was close!!
