abqtj - 2011-04-29 6:52 AM I use a Jersey Bin for my phone, ID, Debit Card and $5 cash in my jersey pocket.

Wow! Someone found a way to charge $4 for a ziploc bag. Impressive.

If it was called a Zipp-loc bag they could charge even more

I put a couple of Stay-fresh packets in the bag along with a little cash and ID. Zip-locks have completely replaced my wallet

Phones are for the weak.

That would be me. I was doing a long ride the other day, and wondered what I would do with a break down or crash. I was feeling pretty "weak" at the time and wished I had a back up. Riding shoes would be a hard walk back and the 93 degree heat would make me "weak" again if I had to go barefoot.

prbf36 - 2011-04-28 5:40 PM in my hand because i am either texting or changing what song I am listening to, while wearing a bunch of Ironman branded gear (I haven't done one), no helmet, on the sidewalk or on the road going against traffic during rush hour.

But where do you keep your gun?

I'm another one using Jersey pocket, but I always turn mine off - the last thing I want is the phone ringing off the hook while I'm riding!

You're absolutely right, when the phone rings distracts you, it's annoying, and when you stop to answer it, everybody are one mile ahead of You a least.

This job I have is enslaving, maybe I have to find another. LOL

I have a phone bag made by Trek.  I put the phonein a zip lock then put it in the phone bag.  I actually have a dedicated workout phone and I roll the good smart phone number into the workout phone # for training.  A bit overkill perhaps but I am a doctor andthe phone is my beeper essentially.

I just saw this online. Never used it. It may suck.

But it seems like a great idea.

Mine goes in my saddle bag.  I don't put it in my jersey because it will do me no good if I wreck and it flys out of my jersey and gets lost or I land on it and break it.
