It's time to start thinking about the Georgia BT IM tracking thread.  What Georgia BTers are doing Ironman Coeur D'alene this weekend?

2101 . good luck to the others! I am looking not for a time goal other than an IM Mary PR (<3:53) but even that I'm not too bothered about. I just want to survive the swim, have fun, and feel like I gave it my all on the day. My training has been solid with no injuries, I've not missed any key workouts, and Shanks has got me tapered and ready to race. Now it's time to execute and hope for the best. Thanks for all the support everyone.

I am #2053 and Seth is #1587. Bill Haynes is doing a quick link for my tracking like he did for Kraig at IMCOZ in November. The link is http://bhaynes.com/brett.html but it won't be "live" until Sunday morning when the IM site goes up. My wife will also be tweeting on my Twitter account @BDaniels58 so you can follow me on Twitter if you want the real time updates.

I am ready to rock! Looking forward to a great day on Sunday.

Yep, 1043.

I got one of those my athlete gps units for tracking for parents/friends back home because I am unsure of the reliability of using the IM site. Ill get on a plane Thursday afternoon and go from there.

Hoping for an 11:30 finish.

MILF: The phat descends on Idaho on Wed night late, but my soul went there once All3sports announced me to their team. The question that remains is does all of our hard work pay off?

What's your racedaytracker.com link?  Are do you have it yet?  Be sure to post for us.

And what's your goal time if you don't mind telling us?  Overall I mean - I see your marathon ^^.

I have no overall time goal LisaB and I'm regretting that I typed up a IM mary time goal but there it is. I am learning that to define your success by numbers is perilous and creates unnecessary pressure for yourself. Its best to do your best on the day given your training and the conditions. If I finish with a smile, thats more important than a certain sub something for me. And I can unequivocally tell you that a KQ is not one of my goals.

Www.racedaytracker.com is Troy/Shark from Augusta's program that automatically updates your fb or twitter feeds with how you are doing. Being that we are friends on fb you will see my fb wall updating itself like I am typing it (e.g., "I just completed the swim in 1:30:00") but it will be Troy's program doing the updating.

Also, my sherpa will be doing what he can to keep fb updated with pics, observations, and times . I am sure there will be folks from fb/twitter that take our updates and put them here on this thread or at least thats what I am expecting.

As always, thanks for the support!

963.

I have no goals set in stone for this race.  This is my second ironman, and I am just trying to improve my execution.  I am doing this race with a friend of mine from High School and this will be his first, so I am really looking to just have fun.

I am leaving thursday afternoon to Seattle to meet up my buddy and then we'll drive over to CdA with his tri team Friday morning.

Good Luck to everyone else.  I am sure Georgia is going to represent well and kill it.

Lisa I am in the same boat as Phatknot. I have trained well and I feel confident for the race, but there is a lot that can happen in 140.6 miles. I am not going to define my success or failure by an arbitrary time goal. What I will say is that if I stay within myself on the swim and stay at my target wattage on the bike, I should have a strong run and that to me would be a great success.

Nah.  That's just the taper madness!

Actually, I think a marathon time goal isn't all that bad.  If you do everything correct before the run, then you will hit your goal.
