Subject: RE: sunblockI fry no matter what kind of sunblock I use; it's a matter of frying vs. frying less. For me, Neutrogena Sport has been mediocre but will do in a pinch, especially if I reapply it a lot. Coppertone Sport works better and doesn't run into my eyes and sting (Neutrogena does), but it's still not great. The Banana Boat lineup, including the newer spray Sport varieties, have been near-useless for me. I'd love to try Bullfrog but we can't get it here (the Neutro and Coppertone I brought back from the U.S.). There is one non-frying sunblock which a friend of mine makes here. It's also edible and smells like chocolate, which means I keep wanting to lick it off myself. The one problem is it's not rub-proof. It is incredibly sweat and water resistant without making me pour sweat additionally or causing me to break out, though. I've tried pretty much everything, and for the OP and others, the sport-specific formulations of Neutrogena and Coppertone are at least worth trying. |
