I've met you recently, but if that "before" guy walked into my office right now I would not recognize him. (I mean in business clothes. If he walked in like that I would call security.) WOW!!! I am SO PROUD OF YOU! The Brandt in the second pic, the one I know, DOES look way younger than that guy. And happier, stronger, etc. WOW! The reason we can't put these pics in a commercial is because you didn't accomplish this with some gimmick drink or pill or fad diet, you did it with sensible, healthy eating and lots of PHYSICAL ACTIVITY - something many people think they're allergic to or something, sadly! Also love what you said about your girls - do you know that your example, and the fun they're having running around with you right now, is setting THEM up for longer healthier livestyles too? And funny you should mention it, but EVERY time someone asks "how I did it" and I tell them through diet and exercise, they look completely deflated. One guy even said "Oh, I was hoping you were taking something." It seems there are just way too many people looking for the magic pill, the newest fad diet, etc. My mom told me I should write a book about my life changes (I've always enjoyed writing) but I told her it would probably flop unless I lied and said I did it all by eating only tree bark and drinking some magic potion....the gimmick is what sells, unfortunately, because it is selling false hope to people. No one wants to read about exercising a lot and eating healthy. Thanks for the kind words. |
