I'm not racing Iron Girl, but I raced this new course for the Celebrating Heroes triathlon. During the race, for that traffic-tricky part on MD 40 they had us staying all the way to the left, riding against traffic in a coned-off lane. It felt a little freaky but worked out well. Stay safe and careful during practice rides but know that race-day logistics will be in place to make this easy. |

Member ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() How did you make the left turn from Centennial Lane? Were you able to stay in the left lane, and did you have to wait for the light? That is the turn that I am most concerned about. |

Expert ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() I am glad they changed the course. I did this two years ago with my girls. They were not prepared (pretty much no training). The bike course did them both in. So I was happy to see the change. This year they are both training though! They are getting out the door for a run or bike pretty regularly and hopping in the pool when they can. |
