You've been in my thoughts. Hope your cancer is one of the stupid ones.

Rest up.

Oh yeah. MUST write a thank you note to every single nurse, LPN, nursing student, Coordinator that I had in my room the whole week.

Every single one of them was absolutely professional, personable and just a joy to have put up with my garbage.

I could not do their jobs but it takes someone special to do it with flair.

I'm not kidding, ever single one of them did it right. Must write that thank you note today so it goes out later today.

A couple nice trays of baked goods like pastries, cookies or even sandwiches from a good local vendor would go a long way. Be sure to cover all the shifts.

I'm sick and tired of being sick.
Hell I'm not even tired.
Quit taking percocet last week, naproxen worked well.
Quit taking naproxen three days ago. Took ibuprofen last night before bed.
Can sleep on my tummy again.

Doc app't tomorrow.
Wonder if doc will let me at least ride rollers. Give me a target heart rate and I'll stop for an hour.
Only time it even is stubbed toe uncomfortable is when I twist and bend.

Damn this sucks.

That's so great that you were going to do that!  I bet they appreciated receiving one from you!

Is everything coming along better now (albeit slowly)?

WOOHOOO!!!

Can ride! "Don't overdo it" Gotcha, not a problem. If it's over toe stubbing, stop for an hour or so.

I just want to sweat for 15 to 30 minutes a day or so.

10 minutes light spinning.

Damn that feels weird. IM training, 6 hours on weekends normal. General stuff, 1 to 1.5 hours four days a week and 3 hour rides on weekends.

Now, I'm happy to get 10 minutes of light spinning. But I figured I'd better stop there and give it a day to see how my bod shakes out after that.

It literally felt weird. Felt all the incisions. Felt the place where my kidney was. No weeping (me or the incisions) and no discomfort.

Oh well, this week it'll be 10 minutes. Might be twice a day. Next week we'll see about 20.

Muscle memory is a great thing. Go light and recover. Major surgery is not to be messed with.

Do you have to have any further treatment? Wishing you all the best for a speedy recovery.
