These are all for athletic achievment/ability, not COJ - although it might seem like it.
Welshy - If you haven't read his marathon report, you have to. It's fantastic. To me it defines the kind of spirit/humor that will get me through the endurance challenges I have set in front of me.
Run4yrlif and running2far for their swimming prowess and willingness to help a rock try to float.
Max and Jeepfleeb- how do you list what these guys have accomplished? 'nuff said. Besides (in Aaron's case) anyone willing to take out a Disney character at the finish line is worthy of admiration.
Bear - A guy who started out as a runner, became a big volume cycling guy and is now dedicated to swimming (never dropping off too much in the other events). His training volume is and dedication is amazing.
MarkK and CindyK - I've raced with them twice now and they are great people on top of being great and fun athletes to be around.
Whizzzzz - man did she kick tail this summer! She had training days that beat some weeks that I had.
Comet - not only for her racing but for creative and dedicated jockstrapping!
TH3 FRB - again this is for the combination of his ability and his willingness to share advice.
Coredump - all of his current stats are actually my long term goals. I should just put a link to his log under LONG TERM GOALS in my log.
Mesteren - He's fast. If you haven't already go check out our Crazy Iceland Dude!
Derekl - have you seen the picture of his legs? His muscles are so big it looks like he's got three kneecaps on each leg. And he's a fellow hairy beast too!
All the Utah BT'ers for sticking together and pushing each other - and for letting a flatlander onto their team for the Jan swim challenge. Runningfoo, Uttriman, brappleye3, et al.
Daremo and Jorge for their cycling experience and knowledge - and again, willingness to share it.
dhlundblad - I've read a lot of inspirational IM race reports in the last 9 months, many great stories. It's not really fair to say one is better than others, but her story is incredible. I hope she's doing well.
lisac957 and la querita - my fellow Celiac BT'ers, cuz it ain't easy to do this stuff when you can't eat what the rest of you eat. Our fuel sources are WAY more limited than the rest of you.
Bodycheck - She was one of the first to inspire me and she motivated me to one of my best workouts ever - the 2:20 run. Thanks!
Finally, I admire all of those other BT'ers who are in a similar position to me struggling to balance training, family and work. Some who remind me of my situation are tupuppy, schmize, morey1, momx3, marmadaddy, Daremo (again), cobannero, madcow. I know there are so many more of us out there I just can't think of any more names.
I could go on and on and I'm sorry to all those I left out. I guess I could have said I admire just about everyone on BT.
