Remain in 2020 Sunbelt Bakery® IRONMAN 70.3 Chattanooga presented by McKee, A Family Bakery August 23, 2020
What are the other Chatt manatees thinking of choosing? Part of the reason I picked this race was to race with friends, so if no friends are racing, that will likely sway my decision. The only thing I know for sure I'm not doing is option 4 because that is the same weekend as LP 70.3 that EFP is racing. Yup. Heat and races longer than on Oly and I do not get along. |

The only thing I know for sure I'm not doing is option 4 because that is the same weekend as LP 70.3 that EFP is racing. I’d like to race it this year, though August will be brutal. But as I mentioned, I’m so not confident any race will happen this year. Augusta is an interesting choice too. It will be crazy hot and probably really crowded as it is always offered as one of the options for postponed races. What to do, what to do! |

1731 Denver, Colorado | Subject: RE: Manatees Roar into the 20s! CLOSED Your coworkers' stories are so funny! I have a young IT coworker who stayed all night last night to save the (virtual) world (he gets a bonus vide games night for overtime work with chores and being a good boy). The furry co-worker did her night shift messing around with my 1,000 puzzles, in search of a nice box to fit in... My little communication and public relations manager is on special mission today, visited her grandma. So it's pretty quite down here today |

I’m not sure there will be any races this year, so am not real confident in sticking with the new date or other race options for 2020. UGH. But at least we’ve gotten the word. I quick changed my hotel reservation to August pending an actual decision. Likely one of the Choo choices or IMNC for me. Glad that May can be removed from the books. |

Expert 1694 Illinois | Subject: RE: Manatees Roar into the 20s! CLOSED Just wanted to say sorry about the race cancellation. All of my events through May (waiting to hear on my A race in June) have been cancelled. I know that these are first world problems in the big scheme of things but that doesn't mean it's not disappointing. |

IMNC is "river swim" (saltwater), flat but perhaps windy bike, flat run. Closer to home for me so there is that. |

Pennsylvania | Subject: RE: Manatees Roar into the 20s! CLOSED Just thought of a potential wrinkle for NC 70.3 - that's hurricane season, right? And it got nailed 2 years ago, right? But I sure like the sound of the air temp average - 65*F! I will need to weigh this out for sure. |

Now leaning toward next year and maybe this year a year of short course tris and or bike events ( if there are any) |

That's a valid concern... I am also sorry for all the cancelled events. especially the big ones, and for those of you who have trained for something big and challenging.. |

That made me smile. |

My company sent 2,000+ call center agents to work from home over the past 3 weeks - unprecedented! But seems to be working well! |

I am wondering how that may change the future work enviroment. My current employer never wanted to hear about remote work (private university), but recently started allowing some folks, due to lack of actual physical office space... Now almost all of us are working from home. And it seems to work really well. So far absolutely everyone is responsive, the work is being done. My departmnt always struggles with finding new lab space, and places for new students. Having some admin folks working from home would definitely help solving the problem... |
