  • Comments: This is a great overall race. The swim start is not really conducive to the number of participants but it works ok. Debating a retun in 2014 or to run the Keahou sister event instead. Had a very brief opportunity to meet Metafizx but couldn't find him after the event. It's always nice to have a friendly face to meet you in pre-race transition!

  • Comments: Fun race, great location. Do it if you can! Was shooting for top 5 in my age group and ended up 6th. So, not bad for the first race of the season...but a long way to go!

  • Comments: Great Race. Very Fun. Nice and different in terms of the run. The bike course, is well part of the Iron man so the road is great and the volunteers sweep it the gravel off the day before which is awesome.
