  • Comments: Love this venue. It's a fun course and well organized, plus has a great Barbecue afterwards if you have the time to stick around.

  • Comments: While waiting for my DW to cross the finnish line a gust of wind blew the finnish line structure down and wiped out the time clock and some other stuff they had set up. A bunch of us ran over and lifted the structure up and moved it off the course when we set it down my DW was crossing the finnish line so I did not get her picture that I was hoping to get.

  • Comments: Well run, fun race. Weather can be a little iffy this time of year, but this year was perfect. Race shirt is a very nice embroidered sweatshirt. I definitely recommend this race.

  • Comments: Love this race. Good to know how the season is starting and what you still need to work on for the A race. Also the post race BBQ and AG awards are good too!

  • Comments: I wish they would acknowledge the age group winners better. Podium spots should be better. Instead of just announcing, I think they should have somewhere to stand with their "medal" all together.

  • Comments: I just wanted to finish today and I did so I'm really happy with how it went. Swim was way better than I'd hoped, bike was not as good and run was well, a slog. I had the most of of any tri Ive ever done today!!

  • Comments: Cool BBQ afterwards, not enough people cheering though, we did our best to make up for it since we were waiting for the rest of our group to finish. I think they should have shuttles bring people in and clear up space for a beer tent of some kind. Great race though, we had a really good time.

  • Comments: 1/3 of the folks didn't even show up for the race due to the rain & Cold! Funny e-mail went out from the race director asking for all the chip's back. Glad I still got the season started, but really this wasn't what I had in mind when signed up in February! Interesting swag this year, and athletic bag instead of a T-Shirt! Will be back for a 6th year next year.

  • Comments: They couldn't help the weather. Everybody made adjustments. I think I could cut over 10 minutes if I really made this race a priority. I was happy with the day overall for what it was.

  • Comments: Swag was great as always, good water bottle, long sleeve shirt, good BBQ dinner. I think we liked last years caterer a little better though, & no band. 1st, 2nd, 3rd Age grouper winners got a nice Ridel wine glass!

  • Comments: I really like this race - it's a great way to start the season. The fees go to cancer research, they are organized and they have a great BBQ at the end! I hope we can get a few more of our club members to go next time - it'd be fun to have a bigger group there.

  • Comments: This is a great early season race and a fun way to start out the season. I'd like to get more of our team members to come. Volunteers were great and it was a well organized event. I'll be back next year, gotta break 3 hrs!!
