Subject: RE: Bacon, Egg and DonutI can see the appeal and how it would work. Sweet offsetting the salty... Nor for me though. I sort if compare it to a Monte Cristo sandwich. (It's a ham and turkey and swiss sandwich, dipped in batter, deep fried, dusted with powdered sugar and raspberry jam and is a miracle of a culinary creation.) I never thought a deep friend meat sandwich with powdered sugar and jam would be good - and I was wrong. I'm now on a mission to find the best one and order it whenever I see one on a menu. It's going extinct I think, sadly. |
