Subject: RE: 1.18.12 Wednesday, what's up?1700yd swim. 500yd w/u, 5 x 200, then 2 x 100. My first swim since Orangeman in September. I went totally off swimming and concentrated on running only the past 4 months. I didn't want an extra ounce of upper body muscle to carry during last weekend's marathon. (it worked, I hit the pace I was hoping for) But - now it's time to get back in the pool, and I found out just how much speed I lost. Turns out, quite a bit. ugh. time to start getting back into the swim of things. |
