I am! I'll be doing the world's best triathlon, the Bali Int'l Tri here in Indonesia. Pre-race activities start Friday morning and go through until a "send-off" the evening after the race.

Pretty much totally untrained, so will be pacing myself and just enjoying the gorgeous sightseeing tour.

For the first time, I can answer one of these!  I will be doing my first Tri - the Heart of the Highlands sprint triathlon in beautiful Cape Breton, Nova Scotia!  As my first race, I'm just in it to enjoy the experience.... and to try to not totally suck on the run.

ME ME ME!!!!  I'm so freaking excited.  It's my first tri (although not my first multi-sport) and I can not wait!!!!!  My mom and step father flew in last night to be here to watch me do the Danskin SheRox here in Denver.  We're heading up to Vail today for a quick overnight and then have the race expo Saturday and then race on Sunday.  Did I mention how excited I am?  Sealed

I'm in too...Rochesterfest Tri 2009 (Oly).  1st one since I did Escape from Ft. Delaware way back in 2002.  Can't wait, but nervous too since my bike prep hasn't been significant at all.  This site has been great for getting back into the mindset.

Since I had to come back from no base whatsoever, I trained without watches/pace alot.  I started paying attention about a month ago to how long things were taking.  I have to say it was quite liberating to just go out and run or bike or swim and not worry about time.  Got me back to enjoying it again.

I'm doing an evening stand alone run also.  The Cherry Garcia 5k.  It was my first ever race last year so I'm doing it to see just how much I've improved.  The great thing is post race includes pizza and Ben & Jerry's Cherry Garcia icecream.

I am! I'll be doing the North Country Tri sprint on Lake George (NY). My first race this season... I've never done the North Country before but I wanted to do a sprint before I have my first Oly in August. Water temp is expected to be 66 and I'm going w/o a wetsuit... Should be invigorating!

Hy Vee Triathlon, olympic distance. Water should be close to 15 degrees warmer than my last tri two weeks ago. The gods are smiling on those without wetsuits...

Love to see all the first Tri posts...super exciting!

I will be racing Buffalo Springs Lake Tri 70.3 in the beautifully desolate town of Lubbock, TX on Sunday.  Nothing like heat, hills, wind and 69.1 miles of biking & running induced pain to get your mind right on a Sunday morning.

Good luck & have fun to all who are racing this weekend!
