Elite 3602 Mesa, AZ | Subject: RE: Ironman St. George Utah 2010 Bike course: http://www.mapmyride.com/route/us/ut/hurricane/145123740280865467 What I hear from a guy who runs the St George Mary every year: 1 - The town's people come out in DROVES for these races, will be WELL SUPPORTED! 2 - That hill will be a SCREAMING fast downhill X2, says its SUPER STEEP on the backside but a nice gradual climb going the way it is routed. MAJOR plus is that downhill takes you right into T2! 3 - Said guy has also swum in the lake around that time of year and says its not bad! |

As far as conditions go, it could be absolutely perfect. More likely, however, we will need to be really prepared for some serious wind. The weather can be pretty unpredictable that time of year. I don't care! This one is in my backyard and on a Saturday!!!!!!!! |
