Please recommend sunglasses

I love my Tifosi's....they come with 3 sets of lens so you can switch out for different light levels.  My face isn't that big

another vote for the Oakley Half Jackets. Have had mine for 3 yrs and love them. Usually end up wearing them 8-10 hrs a day between training and work. Bonus of being able to pop out the lens and switch them when need be.

The $15 Ironman sunglasses at Target have always been most comfortable for me for cycling (esp in aero) and running. I'm on my second pair. My first pair lasted 2 or 3 years; I've been using my current pair since July 2007.

Those suckers are up to $17.99 now   I picked up a new more fashionable model last month after my last pair that were a couple of years old finally broke.

I would recommend just getting in your car (or on your bike!) and going first to Target and then to the local bike shop.  I wouldn't buy sunglasses without trying them on, especially if I have had problems in the past, and Google won't tell you much more than what these folks have said (unless you're looking for price, and I will say that Serfas and Tifosi are in the $50 range, while Oakleys will quite a bit run more).   If the Target Ironman glasses work, you're set for cheap!  If not, then you can most of the brands suggested at the bike shop.  My shop sells Serfas and Oakleys and a few other high end choices. 

When you put them, shake your head a few times to see if they stay.  Like headbanging.  Don't be embarassed, it's a lot of money and you want to be sure.

You can also buy the Foster Grant Ironman glasses at Walgreen's, if that's more convenient.  Good luck!

Another Native Eyewear person here.  My larger head is covered in Hardtop XP.  They are also great on the water when boating.

Well thanks to the advice of many, I went to Wal-mart and bought a pair of those $15 Ironman glasses.  My birthday is in September so by then I may have made it to the bike shop to try on some of the fancier glasses (or I may have decided that the $15 ones are all I need).  So thank you all very much for the input.  I'd love to buy the Oakleys but probably don't need them just yet.
