Which is one of my least favorites.  Right behind banana and raspbery Hammer Gels.

My favorite is Gu "just plain". 

Gu chocolate first.  Gu Roctane second.

FYI...it took me a loooong time to get used to gels.  I'd been trying them here and there for 18 months. They're still a little gagish for me, but i can tolerate them now.   It took me eating them very slowly, like 5 mins to finish 1 gel to get used to it.  I could only put a tiny bit in my mouth.  Now i eat it in maybe 4 bites (if you call those bites?).

Can't say I have a favorite gel.  They're all yuk imo.  But they do work well.

My least unfavorite so far is the "just plain" Gu.

OK, first of all, anybody who says 'yum' to any sort of gel is just, well, sick. 

I was a 'Gu man' for a while, and still use them sometimes, but have recently found that Hammer apple goes down easiest for me.  But honestly, I think you just have to experiment and see what works for you.  AccelGel is my least favorite of thsoe I've tried.

For me, it's about thickness.  the Accels are the thickest (of those three); next is Gu, and thinnest is Hammer.  Thinner is easier for me.  (N.B.:  easier, not  'yummier'!)

I've also found that the citrus one's tend to be easier for me -- the citrus cuts the gooiness to some extent.

Gu Roctane and Accel Gel Strawberry-Kiwi

I like the Honey Stinger gels. They make several flavors -- like strawberry, banana, chocolate -- but I prefer the plain, which tastes just like regular honey. I've found these are by far the easiest for me to consume during a race; almost all other gels make me sick just thinking about when I'm running. Before a race I can tolerate pretty much any gel (since I dislike them all fairly equally).

My current favorite is Cytomax Orange (with Caffeine!). They seem a little less sweet than some of the others to me.... If the consistency bothers you, you can try getting a gel flask - put one or two gels in the flask and add a little water. I just got this nifty little flask from Amphipod that can clip onto a race belt or hydration belt. Pretty handy!
