Congratulations to you and your wife on your beautiful new addition to the family, and thank you for supporting doggie shelters! DH and I often talk about how, when I graduate law school, we'll donate as much as we can to the ASPCA. I've always found animals to be a worthy cause because, after all, they can't help themselves and so much of their suffering comes from people. This post makes me all warm and fuzzy inside though! |

Extreme Veteran 622 Fulton | Subject: RE: Saving a dog. We adopted from a rescue group today too! We got a black lab, and his name is Dexter. He is house trained already and just a great dog. It's so hard to understand how anyone could have given him up. We're happy to have found him though! |

Veteran 444 | Subject: RE: Saving a dog. Big thumbs up to all of those who rescue animals. My cat was found by some coworkers hanging by the dumpster at work. A little milk and some pulled pork and she has been my best buddy for 4 years now. Rescue animals are hands down the most appreciative and loving pets. My brother has a dog who was obviously abused by a previous owner, she ducks her head and tucks her tail when you approach her, but she is the best dog ever. She's always happy to see you, never barks, follows you around and is great with his kids. |
