Regular 525 | Subject: RE: Survivor: Blood vs. Water I will definitely give it a shot, but they might have lost me on this one. First I am not a fan of all the returning players, not these specific people just the idea in general. Second I hated Redemption Island, I think it does take away too much other good stuff from the show. Finally all the swapping in and out just seems goofy to me. What day does it premiere? |

Champion 10019 , Minnesota | Subject: RE: Survivor: Blood vs. Water Oh goody - Colton's back. I'll be curious if he decides to be nicer or meaner, based on how he viewed his performance last time. The rest I don't really care about. Obviously Monica and Brad Culpepper will be a powerhouse, challenge wise. |

Master 1946 Memphis, TN | Subject: RE: Survivor: Blood vs. Water It premiers Sept. 18th Colton will be interesting just because people hated him so. People love to hate the villain and this show needs one. Will he lighten up? I guess we have to tune in to find out. Tyson is back. He was a pro cyclist so I know who I'm rooting for. Am I the only one that doesn't like Rupert? Never have never will. He never had any game. |

Wasn't Brad Culpepper a former NFL QB? I hope Colton goes on the 1st impressions vote off. |

Sensei Sin City | Subject: RE: Survivor: Blood vs. Water I didn't look at the link.... But is the Blood vs Water thing a bit more clear? It seemed vague when they teased it at the end of last season and there was a lot of speculation like family members or couples. |

It seemed vague when they teased it at the end of last season and there was a lot of speculation like family members or couples. One former player and a loved one. They are paired for one over night, just the two of them. Then they are split up on opposing teams. There are opportunities for the loved one to swap themselves for their endangered loved one. |

Elite 6387 | Subject: RE: Survivor: Blood vs. Water Nothing I can see exciting. I didn't mind redemption island. It was a good concept, and that first guy, the nice Christian guy, a that had that long streak, that was cool... but in the actual game, it turned out to be a real wet blanket. Seemed that nobody was willing to make a big move knowing they may come back and they did not want to show their cards. So it really did work well in the game. It isn't a blindside when the person is still "in" the game. Couples, who cares. I guess it is interesting, but we'll see. Colton, give me a f'n break. It isn't that I "hate" him... it's that a guy like that does not "deserve" the attention and air space. But that is all these shows do... who is the biggest attention we can find to cause a bunch of drama. The game itself gives the drama, you don't have to cast for it.
The only positive I can clearly see at this point is nobody named Hantz is on it. |

No, not married to Dante Culpepper (former Minnesota Viking QB) , her husband Brad was a defensive lineman with a couple different NFL teams. Think he was an FSU Seminole. The blonde girl Kat, is dating a Big Brother winner (?) So maybe that will help her. Looking forward to it. |

I don't think I will like it but I will give it a chance. Anything to stay entertained in the desert. Hopefully my VPN works so I can watch the episodes or I will end up buying them on itunes! |

I watch for the bubble gum value and fake boobies. DVR it, which somehow makes it more highbrow as I can skip the boring parts |

Sensei Sin City | Subject: RE: Survivor: Blood vs. Water I just went over the cast. Not too excited. I'm losing interest before the season even starts. Also, what was it about Kat I didn't like? I look at her and think I don't want to see any more of her but can't remember why. I DO remember she completely fell apart in the ponderosa videos. Was she bad or just childish/naive? No hotties save Tyson's "date". |

Elite 6387 | Subject: RE: Survivor: Blood vs. Water I'm with you... I'm not real thrilled about it. Don't really care about any of them. Obviously we would not know new players... but we do know these, and ya... so what. It's as if nobody want to play. Like they can't find new players and have to keep recycling them. And for the record... I was over Rupert two returns ago... What is the deal with Rupert. He isn't really that good. I mean I do not dislike him at all... but continuing to bring him back... for what? I don't get it. We should play. I would do it. Maybe we could do a video together. You think we could give them some drama? We get on each others nerves from time to time... |

Champion 10019 , Minnesota | Subject: RE: Survivor: Blood vs. Water I didn't mind it. It never occurred to me that the couples would be competitive with each other once split up, I thought there'd be a lot more crying. The idea that "now their spouse/child has a chance to try" was not the response I expected. I am not a big fan of 3 returning winners. At least with more than one there isn't a big target on their head. Gervais was pretty lame! I bet he gets an earful from his niece later! I think voting her off was dumb and petty. They should have dumped the blond girl who froze at the puzzle. Edited by BikerGrrrl 2013-09-19 9:43 AM |

She's screwed either way - voted out because she is Ruperts wife. He brings her back then everyone is PO'd because they wanted Rupert. The football player doing math with his fingers and messing it up just cracked me up . I don't even remember Aras and Laura from the returning team at all. Candice is not even thinking. Duh, why do all the work for the person you are competing against then sit around complaining about how you are doing all the work. You are there with Rupert, if he is not working it is for a reason. Kinda stupid really. Edited by trigal38 2013-09-20 8:14 AM |
