I voted 3 because I love variety.

I can't just have one and like to enjoy the different aspect of the meal.

However, if time is a constraint....like at lunchtime....totally fine with just one.

3 is standard.  4-5 if beer/wine is involved. 6 or more if you are just trying to try as many as you can for the heck of it.
