World Series- Who you pulling for?

Definitely KC, mainly because it's been so long for them. Good to see someone other than the usual suspects.

I've been to one major league game in my life - Royal's Stadium around 1977.  Back when I was a kid living in Topeka.  So, I think I'll be pulling for the KC.

This whole state is electric, even 3 hours away from KC! Of course I'm pulling for the Royals... hard not to.

Don't remind me.  Probably just as well the Redbirds didn't make it in.....I remember well all of the whining from the naitonial media when we had the I-70 series in '85......not sure I could stomach it again.

My wife is from the Bay area so we'll be rooting for the Giants over the missouri stepchildren.

Not much of a baseball fan other than the occasional SC highlight.  I used to follow a little more when I was playing fantasy baseball 5 years ago.

I can't name one single player on the Royals...maybe would recognize a few names if someone listed them to me.  I can name about 6 or 7 Giants just by their face, and probably recognize a few more if I saw their names.  That said, I'll pull for KC when I'm watching the ticker at the bottom of the screen.  LOL.

I could to.  And pending the outcome of the Lincecum injury, I think the SF bullpen could be in BIG trouble.

Then again I could be wrong.  Baumgarner is a friggen beast.  I knew it was going to be hard for KC going into last night but didn't know it was going to be impossible.  Wow.  Just...... WOW!

Hopefully KC can pull it back tomorrow night.

Didn't see that kind of game happening last night.  WOW!  

So, over/under on the inning Baumgarner gets put in tonight.  He has done it before on 2 days rest.  This will be 3.  I'm thinking it will be the 3rd inning if things start to go south for Tim Duncan.

Though I could have done without the "Bum"-kissing announcers, it was a great game all the way to the final at-bat.

I realize what we were watching last night was nothing short of historical and likely will never happen again, at least not in our life time.  But the love fest they had with him was getting to be a bit much.  Hell, Davis was pitching and doing a hell of a job and they kept talking about Baumgarner.  I've got nothing against the kid.  He won the WS for the Giants.  If it weren't for him it would have been done over the weekend.  But good lord, there was another team on the field.  

My wife is so disappointed.  She's from KC and was crushed.  Took her till midnight to wind down.  I felt for her.

Announcing for gm 7 was embarrassing. There was certainly another team on the field, and they weren't playing poorly. It wasn't a blowout, their pitchers were keeping it close, and it could've swung the other way at the end. Somehow it was a 1-man game?

My husband's family is ALL KC, plus all his friends back home. All I saw on FB feed was #takethecrown #beroyal. My MIL mailed Royals shirts to us (including one for me? I told her it was a nice color of blue.) Then my SIL posted that my nephew was wondering why I was cheering for the losers (he's 3). She got tickets to game 1 for my husband and her dad...you know how that game went. Then she and her husband flew to SF for gm4...you know how that went. So I really didn't comment much when Perez popped up for that last out.
