A little update, we have found the problem, it's an API issue...were working with the provider to get it back online.

Yep. I was just going to report this on my end too. Different browsers with the same results.

It must be a Monday.  The broken weather issue is back

It's back.  It must have been quick as it was up before the programmer got to it.

It's acting up again today :-(

Busted again. 

I checked it a few hours after this post and it was up...it seems to be up now.  I'll see if we can monitor this better - is it global or is certain zipcodes/areas up and down more.

Global.  When it was broken for me, it was also broken for all other training blogs that I visited on the site.  The images were broken and there were no numbers in the temperature area.  I'm set to Fahrenheit and it just listed F for the temperatures.

The weather started to act up on me again about 24 hours ago.

We figured it out, somehow we are exceeding the number of queries per day...though the analytics don't support it.  Before paying more, we're looking at logging queries to see if something else is erroneously triggering queries.  I hope to know soon.

This should be back online within 24 hours.  Apparently googlebot has doubled their crawling the last week and they have recently hit the training logs.  We added some code to prevent triggering a weather query and canonicalized some log URLS.

And this could explain all of the other times it was down for ,24 hours and we couldn't catch it.

Weather is missing for me as well.

It looks like it's working again, let me know if there is any more outages.
