Coach  9167     Stairway to Seven |  Subject: My cat likes to lick me...after I come home from a swimming workout. Anyone else? She'll sit there and lick my hand for like 5 minutes at atime and keep coming back for more. It's just the one cat (the fat one). Top pic is Jasper, the fat lazy one, but she's a good mouse hunter. She's the one that likes to lick. Bottom pic is Louise (Weesie) who is neurotic, uncoordinated, but loves to snuggle at night. Doesn't lick. And she'll sneak in on her belly, lick me, then run. It's too cute. |

In fact, if I have to use bleach anywhere in the house, I have to baracade him from the area or he'll go roll around on the spot (like if I've mopped the floor with bleach), and then flip out like he's had too much catnip.
He likes to lick Eric after his hard workouts. But that's just the salt, I'm sure. |

I don't think Eric would be very understanding about having a different sort of Bob licking me after my swims. And even less understanding about having that Bob lick HIM. |

He grooms me for as long as I'll let him. Once I fell asleep on my couch and woke up with what looked like a skinned hand because he had licked my hand for two and a half hours. |

What's erried to me is that I have two cats that look basically identiacal to yours (one all black the other with white feet and chin). Except for me it's the white-footed one that like to lick my wet hair... bts |

I worked for a company called Divine Swine catering and as you could probably guess, we did pig roasts. Well after catering 2 parties a day and working 14 to 16 hours a lot of grease and food thingies tend to get down to your shorts wearing sandal laden feet and legs. So I would come home at night and kick off my sandals, barely able to move from a long hard hot day and kick my feet up. Our yellow lab Dakota would knock anything and everything down in her path to get to my feet. I gotta admit it was pretty gross watching her go out my feet and LOWER legs with everything she had. She sounded like a hippo eating a swimming pool full of gravy. She'd work her toungue in between each toe like the master she was. I of course would always put a quick stop to it after 20 or 30 minutes. Good times, Good times. Sorry for the slight thread hijack. |

HRH Mr. Furley always does my cool down stretches with me. he likes to lick my arms or legs after a hard workout- i cant figure out if he's cleaning me because i'm his person or because he likes the salt. he also does the after shower licking thing. when i visit my friend after a long bike ride, her dog goes crazy licking my legs. its weird but now i guess lots of animals do it. (i would post a picture of him but he's just so darn handsome that you'd have to pay royalties just to tell your friends about his picture...or i just havent figured out how to get a pic up here yet!) |
