Champion 5312 Calgary | Subject: RE: Biggest Loser Disappointed that they are now coloring conda in a more favorable light. Way to go Jeremy for voting Chris. I wonder why he did that, smart thing would have been to go with the team, now Chris can hold that against him later. And good for Kim. Possibly being separated from Conda is a good thing. Seems like they really played up her relationship with Conda but obviously she had strong relationship with Cassandra that was never brought out. |

Champion 10471 Dallas, TX | Subject: RE: Biggest Loser I'm thinking they have to put the contestants up to acting so horribly and stupidly at changing trainers. Let's see... if you do different exercises, you might lose more weight. What would it hurt to have a different trainer for a week. For those who didn't lose weight, it's probably due to them having amazing weight loss the week before, or because they were too stressed out due to having to switch trainers... FOR A WEEK. I'm not sure how they find people who are so annoying and who love to whine all the time. Pretty sure they just edit it that way... but if someone made judgements on obese people based on this show... they might say that they CRY A LOT, WHINE A LOT, and in general are highly annoying. Biggest Loser doesn't do them any favors with the editing. |

Expert 1019 Muncie, IN | Subject: RE: Biggest Loser I'm beginning to like Jeremy. Somehow, he loves his sister even though she is...well, we all know what I'm thinking. If was very cool for him to give her the shopping trip and he took the gold fish. Pretty sure they edited a LOT last night...like Emily and the phone. Was it not obvious to Emily that Bob was trying to build her confidence when he reversed the roles and had her train him in weight lifting? Not saying it was a bad strategy, just saying it was obvious. Kinda weird that basically everyone kept the prize they got instead of a lot of switching. |

Most of the prizes were not worth switching for. I think you would have seen more people go for the phone if the 1 pound advantage hadn't come out soon after. The 1 pound advantage was really the only thing worth switching for. Shopping trip was second (and it came out last, so, no opportunity), and phone third. Everything else was token. Well, the autographed picture could be worth some $$$ I guess. that was a heck of a gamble on Jeremy's part though...not taking the 1lb... |

Member 131 Connecticut | Subject: RE: Biggest Loser Some of these people who claim to be "playing the game" need to watch more Survivor in my opinion! The contestants who still have significant others on the ranch have a big advantage - in challenges potentially, and certainly in voting. They will NEVER vote for a loved one of course, so the loners need to break that up. Last night was a perfect chance to do that, even though Kimmy is not an on-going threat. Jeremy and Condo are going to be tough to beat. They still have enough excess weight to hit big numbers and they seem to be in the middle of the alliance. The show hasnt continued to show Condo as such a <insert bad word here> but I still cant stand her from earlier episodes. |

Subject: RE: Biggest Loser
* from Wikipedia So...who do you think the favorite is? There "should" be at least 4 more weeks before the final 4 is even determined...then there's usually a 4-8 week break before the live finale. So about 8-12 more weeks total to lose weight. I think we can see the top 4 pulling away...but Mark and Kim are running out of weight to lose. It looks like Buddy and Jeremy are capable of losing close to 50% of their starting weight...I'm not so sure Kim can get down to 125 at her height, nor do I think Mark can get down to 145. Jeremy looks like the favorite to me. 50% of his starting weight is 195 lbs...which is still a little chunky for someone 5'8". For Buddy to get to 50%, he would have to be about 200 lbs, and at 6'0", that's pretty close to normal weight. Add to the fact that of the top 4, he's the only one with a partner left (Conda), he has an extra vote in his favor if he falls below the yellow line. |

Champion 8766 Evergreen, Colorado | Subject: RE: Biggest Loser Yep, I suspect Mark/Kim will fall below the yellow line at some point soon simply by virtue of the fact that they don't have that much more weight to lose. Kimmy as well. I definitely think Conda and Jeremy will be in the finals. I didn't realize Jeremy was that short. Buddy has a shot if his injury doesn't keep him from losing weight. Really surprised Chris is still kicking. I had something else to say and I've forgotten. |

* from Wikipedia Thanks for posting this. Each week when I watch I wish I knew their heights. It adds relevence to how they are doing. Yeah, hate to see Conda getting into the finals but I think it will be her and her brother. I hope Buddy can hang in there. Was hoping Chris would be voted off this week but she totally rocked the weight loss! I just don't like her for some reason. |

Subject: RE: Biggest Loser I actually think Chris is the X factor that might sneak up out of nowhere to win the show if they allow her to make the finals thinking she isn't a threat. She has the body potential to lose 50% and get down to 120 if she really tried. It would take some massive dehydration...but it was done before in that famous season 7 by Helen when she came out of nowhere to win...when nobody saw her as a threat. |

I don't remember having heard it mentioned on the show before. I know what it's like to live out someone else's dream and I am ecstatic that she is moving forward in a new direction that is her own choosing. Go Emily! |

Emily is super messed up (or at least that's how it has been produced to seem) but that's cool that she is out there doing what she wants to do. I wonder how many olympic lifters pursue opera once their lifting careers have run their course? So far the people I dislike the least of the remaining 8 are: 1. Buddy 2. The end |
