Back in my room, 48 minute PR!  Geez I looked good crossing the finish line?? Felt like crap, although hearing Mike say I am an Ironman....priceless!  It was a very tough day out there for me, I literally got beat-up on the swim.  I'm sore and bruised!  I'll save the details for my RR, going to enjoy my IM high.

Congrats everyone, get some rest tonight.

Great job to everyone that did the race.  I just got home.  Volunteering for this is about as much fun as you can have without doing it!!  I got to catch the first bike finishers bike, and the take the overall winners timing chip at the finish line, and see several of you finish.  Congratulations to you all.

His name is scott and he is ok. We met him at out hotel today and invited him bowling. He is currently winning. No joke. He has some cuts and bruises but is ok.

Ugh, horrible story. This is why I never trust going through an intersection, if a cop is there.

Happy to hear he is OK though. A good ending to a potentially devastating story.

Just got done reading everyone's posts. 

Thanks for tracking us all day long.  It really means a lot to me and you guys were in the back of my head all day. 

It was a tough day for me but I gave it all I had and that is what IM is all about.  I may not be happy with my time or the outcome, but I am pleased that I never walked on the run and stayed focused all day.  There were many times that I wanted to throw in the towel or just say, "Whatever" but I didn't.  Looking back, that lesson will come in handy sooner rather than later.

The Kona slot rolled down to 13th place in my A/G and my friend JC got and accepted her slot this time.  Kudo's to her!

Did I mention that I swam into a Tree?

Congratulations to all!   That was way harder than I ever thought it would be, and I knew it was going to be hard.  Can't wait for the next one, but it will be in two years.  Going to spend next year focusing on a couple of halves.
