Mirror lake or some other place? At the swim start or some other place? You can join JMoney at Saranac Lake. Or, alternatively, you can meet up with the rest of us at the swim start (grassy area, under the trees, right next to the beach) at 9am. You won't miss it - there will be about a billion triathletes there on Friday morning. Hopefully no beavers, otters, sharks, etc, etc. Can't wait - headed to the airport in a couple of hours myself...! thanks, Rusty. I'm already on edge, so I don't need any extra issues...4 more patients and I will ride my bike in the rain here in CT for my last significant workout...every one of my patients today had to hear about my IM attempt...the only one who really wasn't impressed was my 99 yo-she's a real pip; quite active by deaf, deaf, deaf... safe travels to you and your wife...and to all others headed to LP! |

Master 2912 ...at home in The ATL | Subject: RE: Ironman Lake Placid : Official Thread Ha - ha! Don't worry Dale - you are going to do great! Please be careful in the rain, and don't worry about skipping it for a second if you feel it is unsafe. We are WAY too close for any rain-induced silliness. |

Really? I must be swimming in a hot-tub-of-a-lake down in eastern Long Island. Mirror Lake water felt crisp and cool to me. A few warmer spots close to shore, but nice and cool once you get out of the shallow waters. |
