Great job in the heat Dino and Suzy!  Any news from CA?

On another note - has anyone been a Girls on the Run coach?

Hey gang.  It wasn't pretty but I got it done.  Swim and bike were good, run was rough.  Hot - 90º.  I think I took in too much water at the first aid station and that caused some stomach issues.  More details in the RR later this month Innocent

Haven't read all the post but scanned through the other results and looks like everyone did awesome.  Congrats!!

Hi All....checking in for a very quick second.  Obviously, I did not achieve my sub 6 goal and I make no excuses for it.  It remains a goal for '12.  The conditions were tough, the medical tent told me real feel was 101F today, but it was that way for everyone.  I feel absolutely like crap.  There were a few highlights and I will share those once I can pull myself together.

Best to Dino and Kim and George.  Haven't seen their times, but I am sure they did awesome!

Have not been a coach but my daughter did the program this year and I was her running buddy for the 5K. She loved it. I loved it. She'll be doing it again next year!

Very sad to see that Linda.  I was just riding in that area last weekend.  Hope he gets better soon.

Stinks to see some of the comments on the article.  A lot of the people in that area don't like cyclists on the roads.

That sucks Linda. Not too be insensitive with it, but do you know the story any more than what is reported?

The biker didn't stop at the stop sign?

Congrats to everyone!!  All those HIM times look fantastic to me.   I did an Oly on Sunday (yesterday already for me) and finished in about 2:45.   I also had hot weather - 90 or so.    I'll have to wait for the official results before I do my RR.    At the meeting before the start of the race, they explained that the bike course was short (34.9 km) and the run course was long (10.25 km).  The swim course also seemed long to me, but you never can tell.   Even though this was the 26th time they've held this race, it sounded like it was the first time they were coming clean on the official distances.

Great job today, racers!  All of you posted some great times!

Linda, sad to see another accident with a motorist.  I will keep him and his family in my prayers, as well as all of us as we continue to ride, train and race.  I consider myself extremely fortunate to have a place to ride with minimal interaction with cars.

AWESOME job racers!!!  I was thinking about all of you all day yesterday!  Super impressed with you guys.  Incredibly motivating too!

I finally get to share my purchase with you guys.  I am finally going to be able to put away my ill-fit-make-me-cry-b/c-its-so-uncomfortable 1988 Panasonic with Suntour components and ride this sweetie.  I cannot wait!
