I still feel as if it was January, and cannot believe it's almost April... The year has not started for me as planned - although, I had super optimistic plans for 2022. Nothing to complain about, but rather super depressing mood that did not help, and rather caused apathy. I decided to buy a home, but the market is crazy, and even though my financial situation looks pretty good, the max I would qualify for is still too low for the competition in Colorado. So that is discouraging. I also had some back and forth at work about my promotion that I finally got (after waiting for almost 3 years!), but that caused a lot of stress. And the war in Ukraine, and my country's involvement. That depressed me a lot. I don't know when and how, but three months passed and I finally need to admit we are not in January anymore... I hope everyone is doing well! Good to see you here again, sorry things have been bringing you down lately. Wishing the best for you. Thank you! And BTW - I love your drawings! |

They are in Arlington, TX this year. The biggest Duathlon I have done was the 2020 SouthWest Regional USAT championship where I was 7th overall and 2nd in my age group. If this is a competitive Nationals I will do well just to make the top 10 in my age group. If it is a soft Nationals Race there is a chance I could make top three in my AG. At this point, my goal is to beat my teammate on the Kiwami Race team. She was 2nd place in her AG at Nationals and 4th and Worlds in her AG in 2021. I don't want to get chicked. If we both make the podium that will be a perfect day. |

I'm not racing but am helping out with the LS Y's Easter egg swim Saturday. I think the kiddos swim and dive to collect eggs but I'm not 100% sure what all the event entails. I volunteered to help in the water with the groups. |

Master 9705 Raleigh, NC area | Subject: RE: Racing Manatees - Better Together in 2022 It looks like Robin completed her tri And Ann-Marie finished her half marathon. I look forward to hearing about the events. Jim is in the midst of his Knight of Sufferlandria attempt and 31 minutes ago, Leanne was at 44.35 miles of the Umstead 100. Dooo eeetttt!!! i completed the Assault on the Carolinas. Great ride.I plan to do it again.I was really happy riding the Aspero in it. Clothing choice was challenging but I went with tights, arm warmers, vest. It was under 40 ar the start but bright and sunny with virtually no wind.it warmed up to the 50s and clouds rolled in. |

Expert 2811 | Subject: RE: Racing Manatees - Better Together in 2022 Good Job today Manatees! Knight of Sufferlandria is a long day. My legs and bottom are not pleased with me. I have the unofficial badge in my Wahoo app, but I have to wait a couple of days for the official knighting or whatever they call it. |

Janyne I’m happy you enjoyed the Assault on the Carolinas so much and that the Aspero worked so well. You certainly had a lot of elevation over 66 miles. My quads hurt just seeing your Strava post! And Jim my booty hurts just th8nking about all your trainer time My HM was good. I decided early on that this would be a training run, not a race, so I decided to break the race into sections- warm Up threshold intervals with recoveries, then hold on til the finish. Plan went well as it got a great workout. The hills about killed me, but I managed a 1st AG placement. Im hoping I’ll be able to move tomorrow so I can get a bit of cycling done. I look forward to hearing how everyone else’s events went. |
