This is soo weird.....I'm sitting here watching the race and my son comes in with today's mail and guess what is in there?  My IMKY DVD!  I love it.  It really stirs up race day adrenalin.
IMFL guys are gonna get to relive this day for the rest of their lives!

Rick's off the bike in 5:17:45.  Nice ride, though he slowed in the back end.  Hopefully he's got something left for the run.  Run, Rick, run!

22.16 mph for 112 miles? That's just obscene.

Hey everyone, just got back from watching my wife's first Sprint Tri!
Joel crushed the bike, plain and simple.
Rick is EXACTLY where he should be based on his training times and time goals, he's having the perect day at this point. He can probably hold on to a 3:45-3:50 run from here if he keeps it under control.

Bostic is off the bike.

Awesome stuff. That's pretty much the neighborhood he was planning on, too - so far, so good. Hope he's got the nutrition dialed in for the run. Go, Bostique, GO!

Flyboy (Stan) is off the bike, too.  Looks like everyone slowed a bit over the last 30 or so. Maybe it's back into the wind, or uphill both ways.  Awesome ride, Stan!!!

Holy! Joel just ran 1:36 first Half! If he can move up the field he has a shot at Hawaii. He's in 21st place in the AG.

Joel is (not surprisingly) running through the field.  A 1:36:48 half split and into 148th place.

I just looked at some of the AG times. This race is VERY fast. They must have perfect conditions.

It is Dan's daughter again.  He's out on the run, about forty minutes in.  He finished the bike just a little after two o'clock.

Bah, Joel's 1/2 run split in IMFL is faster than my fastest 1/2 mary time in *any* race.  Heh.

He is a FRB for sure.

And go Bostic and Daremo!!!!!  And all the other BTers!!!!!

Hah!  Joel must have passed Kevin (runatlanta) right at the turn.  148th & 149th, respectively.

Vuckovic set a course record today, so it does seem like conditions are good.

Average 23mph???  The fastest I've EVER gone was 24 mph down the backside of a drawbridge.

It looks like Mimi is doing great, too!!!
