TriToy - 2008-04-13 6:04 PM so looks like Mike Ricci did not finish the bike, and neither Aaron nor Jacob have any run times in....wassup???

Basically the site sucks, so trying to check people there right now is hard as the data is going back and forth, back and forth...one moment people have run times, next minute they don't even have bike times...

Rick - thanks for the updated sheet.  That thing is awesome, especially considering the live feed doesn't work so good.

Chris - That is so, so unfortunate.  You will be back, though.  I know that.

Keep on, keepin' on BTers.

So if they pay to the top 10 does the AG'er get the money? Or do you have to be racing pro to get paid?

I am okay with the finish line video since they do that most of the time but fix your server so it does crash everytime you have a race.  I know it is free and they don't have to do it but come on, people pay alot to race and want their family to know what is going on.

Wouldn't you think he has had fast races prior to this one. I mean he has probably been pro eligable for a while. I doubt this was his first race that fast!

True, but you have to win a decent amount of big races.  not exactly sure the qualifications......Bryan....where are you? I'm sure he knows.

I know the requirement to get your elite card. Is that the same as pro? I don't think you get that good overnight.

Wow, really really sad to read about the bad luck out there.  Sounds like it was out there in spades.   Chris, that vertigo sounds just absolutely torturous -- I'm incredibly sorry you couldn't finish, but on the other hand I'm very glad you were able to get out of the water OK.

No clue.  I'll never be there so I've never looked into it.

I would assume that Pro=Elite, but I've never claimed to be real bright

Mirg - 2008-04-13 7:10 PM Any word on where Beke is and what happened? Doesn't look like he even started the run according to the website.

Yeah, he doesn't have a T2 time, but I thought I saw him heading out onto the run.

He probably will.

Use to be that if you were a pro (in any sport) you could not participate in the Olympic games.  I guess the changed the rules somewhere along the way.....at least they did for basketball with the "Dream Team".  Wonder what the rule is for triathlons?

Personally, I'm not going pro so I can retain my Olympic eligibility.....

:-)

My reasoning exactly. We all know I'm Olympic material!
