MuscleMomma - 2013-03-13 5:26 AM eeewww Speedknight, talking smack! Well I don't have a comeback yet, but I'll be thinking about it during my next workout

talking smack or putting HIS GOALS out for all to see.  Making him more accountable (ok maybe smack talking himself  .  To get there, in the words of Tony Horton he is going to have to "BRING IT" every week.

Happy Birthday, and enjoy the great weather!  I don't know what a 'burpee' is, but I'm pretty sure I won't be doing any today.  At least not on purpose...

Just for you, DURING my 10k run, I did more than requested: 20 burpees, 20 jumping jacks, and 20 lunges.  I did decide, however, that you don't deserve planks since we never got a Marcg 1st Bikini Abbie.

You brought this on yourself!   Wink

My opinion burpees are the single greatest bodyweight strength exercise ever invented.  Now four weeks later with my finger all healed up I'm about to revive my challenge starting sunday....with time off for a race.  They are awesome and if you only have time to do one really good exercise then in my opinion burpees are the way to go.

This week has been VERY discouraging. I finally got the scale going down last week, was feeling all good about things. I started a steroid treatment and IMMEDIATELY gained 5 pounds. (within 2 days!!!!). I have lost one of them. Damn! The meds are making me feel MUCH better, but starving all the time (I am doing okay controlling that except in the evenings) and tired. NOT a good combination. Sigh- There is always a trade off.

I WILL get this figured out.

203 this morning down 1 from last friday.  I'll take it.

Have been training pretty well but this week hasn't been as disciplined diet wise thanks to the time change leaving me up late which is where I am weakest when it comes to snacking.

Big race coming next weekend.  Should be a great time.

That really stinks! Glad you are feeling better.

No change for me. I'm not going to dwell on it. I did everything right and it just didn't go in my favor on the scale today. I'm excited tri season officially starts tomorrow with a sprint!

180.6 this morning so down 2 for the week.  Nothing big but a steady downward trend.  Travel again this weekend so diet and training will take some coordination.

Good luck to all those racing this weekend.

Got back on track last week (from Granny passing stress + sadness + funeral travel + illness) =  it's paid off! Down 2 lbs this week, due to discipline with my food log and getting back into exercise.

124lbs, YES!

Keep up the hard work and commitment everyone!

After a very solid few weeks of eating, I had greasy pizza and beer at my daughters end of the season basketball party last night.  I'm having some serious GI issues this morning! Surprised  Not sure if it's because of the grease/cheese, or the beer (probably the beer...).  It was worth it though.  Laughing  It's a beautiful weekend around here, I'll run it all off.

TriToy, have a great time at your race, go get em!

Robin, haven't been on for a while, but will do the series as a belated birthday wish. Thank you for the gift.

1-6-2013 165
1-11-2013 163.5
1-18-2013 160.5
1-25 159.5
2-1 158.5
2-8 160.5
2-15 165
3/8 163.5
3/15 164.5

It's all good - I'm caring less about this. Have had some really good workouts. If I had to choose between skinny and being a good triathlete - I'd choose triathlete.
Cause not carrying around a 30# fat suit would make me a better athlete...

Eating could be better, but isn't bad, don't drink, get Subway instead of McD when on the road etc.

My goals for the next two weeks are to put in at least an hour a day working out. Am up to jogging 20 mins straight (a little faster than when I started a few weeks ago doing 4 mins. at a time). Rode the stationary bike for an hour, level 8 maintaining at least 90rpms.

Feeling happy with myself.

Want to start my training plan ready to do what it tells me to do - Starting end of month with a three month sprint plan and a week after the sprint I'm starting a two month oly plan which will take me right to my first oly.

Yea baby, I'm bringing it!

Mitzi

So friggin' depressed. A good week of eating, solid workouts, yardwork and up another pound and a half!

The meds make me feel better, and get fatter. LOVELY! If this keeps up, I will be too big to train..

Well after this weekends dipshittery celbrating St Pattys Day I am actually scared to get on the scale and/or measure my waist.

It might take me two weeks to get all these beer, Jameson, hot dogs, pulled pork samwhichs out of me. So I guess you can say the wheels came off the cleanish eating wagon this Saturday and Sunday. No matter how hard I have to work to pay for this weekend activities it was well worth it! I got to see a ton of freinds that I have not seen in forever and I have not laughed that much or that hard in a long time.

I do hope that most of you guys behaved better than I did but if not I hope the fun was worth every calorie.

And yes I am hung over so no yelling please

Down only 2/10 of a pound since last Monday (132 to 131.8) - glad I did not gain especially after St. Pats shenanigans involving a road trip. I always grab the crap snack food at gas stations but stuck to root vegetable chips and turkey jerky this weekend. I wanted a Coke sooooo bad yesterday but grabbed a Smart Water instead. Big step for me

Shooting for under 130 next Monday.
