Thanks everyone.  It looks like it will be nice and warm for the start....

At least I won't have to worry about accidentally wearing too much.

I wonder if Mary will let you count those???

Well, I did count Troy's Monday workout: "Vacuum cleaner lat pulls, Recycling bin clean and jerk, Laundry lunges, Dang I forgot that shuttle runs up and down stairs (alot of this), dishwasher load and unload (curls and extensions)."  Figured he got credit for creativity at the very least and housecleaning IS hard work.

I had to make it a workout because it was UoooFDA cold and weighing the risk of a car saying "WwAAA WWAA I dont want to start" when it was time to go home. Besides, I have learned a new appreciation for domestic upkeep since DW is working and I am the SAHD.

If Mary counts 12oz curls I am going to include the exercise of my next brewing session.

What about a Avengers Super Hero Half Marathon meet at Disndeyland on Nov. 15th? It would happen to be my 50th birthday and because I'm really 5 not almost 50 I want to run a Disney race.

AH, the ever popular Friday evening workout. Mine should start around 4:15 today, which can not come soon enough. So far this morning I've had core system issues, file import issues, file export issues, and SharePoint permission problems, just to name a few. And all my research into these issues points to the same department. Now to go fix these messes.

ARGH! Janyne, when are you moving to Florida???? I need some IT PROFESSIONALS!!! These amateurs couldn't spell cat if I started them off with a "C" and an "A".

OK, I'm done ranting, thanks for that.

Chris, I think you need a cake like this (picture and snarky comment at bottom from today's cakewrecks.com):

I mean, the urge to put a plastic roach in this thing must have been OVERWHELMING.

ETA:  love TW's sweatshirt in the selfie, btw. Very festive and cute.

That bacon taco is awesome.  I'm going to try to surprise my wife with one this weekend.  She would love it.

And good luck Matt in your race this weekend.  Can't wait to hear how it goes.

And everyone enjoy their weekend.  Looks pretty chilly in a lot of areas so stay safe.  Stacey, try to stay cool.

Good luck in your race this weekend, Matt MS!  It sounds like a very fun event.

Thank you all, truly, for Dad's and my well-wishes.  *knocking on lots of wood* he's still feeling OK today, I'm really hoping the trend continues.  He said his phone has been ringing all morning with his pals checking up on him.

Chris and Darren - you need to supply towels when you send out food pics like that!!

DLers, please continue to heal, mend, and feel better.

Yanti, I'm so glad you and Smoky (he's just the cutest dang thing) are both improving.  Let's keep it that way, m'kay?

We're doing great, folks.  We're over a quarter of the way through the month and there's lots of good stuff in your logs.  Just keep swimming, Manatees, just keep swimming (and biking and running and stretching and lifting and mowing and vacuuming and all the other stuff you do)!!

I would be in for being a part of this, but I believe that taking a day off is important.  So, I'll never hit 100%, but I'll consistently do 6/7.

Tom, I feel the same.  On my "day off" I do 10 min of stretching/foam rolling for the challenge.

Yeah, "off" means a lot of different things to a lot of people. More often than not, especially for anyone with some experience under their belt, off doesn't mean inactive. It's a perfect day to do some stretching/yoga/drills/cross-training etc.

Find a mentor. Make a list of at least three people that you could approach for help, list your specific needs and then be courageous enough to begin asking.
