bryancd - 2010-07-25 2:29 PM Fred and Mike and James are doing great! Alaina is looking great, I think she gets into the top 3 she'll get a Kona slot!

I was trying to see how many Kona slots are allocated for her AG and couldn't find anything. She's in 4th now and if she can pass a girl or 2 on the run she'll be golden  Go Alaina go!!!

Fred, PennState, is responding to Fred now and is at about mile 13 per Whizzzz.

Strong run Fred...keep it going. Last year he went into LP with some run injury issues. This year he has been able to run more consistently. Reward time Fred!

I'm going swimming at the dock so will post Whizzz's updates when I get back to the computer.

Tsar is at mile 13...keep running strong!

He had crack in his Felt frame and just got a new frame last weekend and built it up. Clearly change in frame went smoothly!

Go James!

He is in 4th now in the 45-49 age group and running very well so far, but so are the 3 ahead of him. All within a few minutes.

Who is he? I've never seen him around, he's fast. He may have run that first 5 miles a bit too fast though.

John McGovern a BTer from NY, it says Josh on the spreadsheet. Yes he has a battle on his hands. In his age group top 4 are in places 40-44 overall at the moment.

For their FIRST iron race, Josh Kaptur and cusetri are ripping it up. Josh is neck-and-neck with Dan (Marvarnett) and cusetri is not far behind.

I'm waiting with bated hyena breath!

No kidding. I'm really glad for the gorgeous spreadsheet we have ...

I can't get into the live feed to save my life. Anyone else watching?

Anyone know what the bike cutoff is?  I should know this having done a recent IM, I know its 8:30, which should be 10:50 overall right?

I was watching during the win, but turned it off.

Just a reminder, anyone can update the spreadsheet if you have new info

It's getting warmer and warmer out there. I've gone through about 3-4 costume changes myself and I'm just watching the race! Jacket/pants/shorts/sleeveless shirts... the weather here is utterly schizophrenic.

Hah.

Saw SwishySkirt finishing her first lap of the bike a couple of hours ago. Like several hours ago. I don't think I reported that update.

Someone named Eric seemed to recognize me? Any BT'er named Eric doing the race?

Also met a girl named Sara I believe that said she was a lurker. This was this morning... Might have been GottaGoRun?

Loads of fun today. I have blasted through 2 full cell phone charges. Currently recharging now. Need to eat while Chris is out on his second half marathon. Then get to the finish line.

Saw LazyMarathoner. Have been trying to find her boyfriend but have not been able to locate him. Thought I recognized someone that looked like him, but introduced myself and it was not him. Going to give my phone about another half hour and then I'm going to get back out there.

He posts more over on ST, was surprised to see him on the BT list.  THink he works at, or is associated with Catskill Mtn Multisport

Anybody have an idea HOW far behind Athlete Tracker is???

Laura, if you think about it, can you let me know if you see "2562"  (she's not a BT'er but my bestie from grad school)  THANKS!!!
She's been on the run for about the past hour (and that's from phone call from hubby, not Athlete Tracker)

Looks like the tracker has been down for about 30-45 minutes, hopefully all the bt'ers are off the bike now.  Our first finishers should be coming in soon!

The first part of the run at LP is a drop in elevation as well as the second loop so I think that is why the mile splits are so fast on those segments.
