Elite 4564 Boise | Subject: RE: Biggest Loser I really liked the 2 pink girls. One thing I wish they would change is to keep the contestants who get kicked off on the ranch. Make them not eligible for the 250k (barring a marathon entry, etc) but still keep them there. The person who gets kicked off in week 1 is always the person that loses the least. |

Give me a week or two and then I'm in. Last year I like to think I would have probably picked Ramon, his g/f, John, Sunny, and Anton. I cheated. I looked at the NBC web site to get the names straight as I gave it some thought. Let me familiarize myself with their names and mull it over a little. I'll have a prediciton before the next show. |

Champion 8766 Evergreen, Colorado | Subject: RE: Biggest Loser I project the pink girls go far. As "former athletes" you typically just need to fire up their metabolisms and it's game on. I project whichever dudes lost a lot of weight at the first weigh in go far. And the younger girl...who came with her grandma? You can tell she is supposed to be SUPER skinny...her face and legs are still quite skinny. So I think she'll drop weight fast too. |

Master 1946 Memphis, TN | Subject: RE: Biggest Loser I watched last season and am not ready for this one so I'm boycotting this season. I like Dolvett but he comes off to much like a motivational speaker to me laying on the 'charm' a little thick and it's insincere. They will need a female trainer again and I'm sure Jillian will be back soon. Bob goes nowhere.
I just feel like a season of two hour shows was like giving birth and I'm not ready to go through labor again so soon. They are going to wear this show out quick like Trading Spaces did years ago. |

Master 1890 Cypress, CA | Subject: RE: Biggest Loser Actually my favorite part of the first challenge was before the first 40 when grandma whispered to her grandaughter "don't trip!" Whispered, like that was the secret strategy. And that event did look like a hammy pull waiting to happen, I wasn't surprised at all when the guy went down. Plus he obviously didn't overhear grandma... |

Yes, the two hour shows are a beat down and not needed. At our house they're right around 1h22m with the commercials removed, I dunno what you guys are doing wrong ;-) |

At least the boring parts go faster...nbc listened to feedback. They don't spend nearly as much time on the weigh ins anymore. |

Master 4452 | Subject: RE: Biggest Loser dgunthert - 2012-01-05 8:29 AM No one is going to take up my challenge of predicting the 5 for make over week? I has a sad. Ok, finally finished watching last season on PVR and watched the first show of this season (I swim on Tuesday nights and then never seem to find the time to watch later in the week...). My prediction for makeover week is: Emily, Mike, Cassandra, Kim M and Chism. Despite the name, he reminds me of Mike from Season 11. As for the trainers, I do not care for Dolvett at all. He just yells at his team, I don't find him on bit motivating. He doesn't seem to really connect with his team the way Bob does. |

Champion 7821 Brooklyn, NY | Subject: RE: Biggest Loser I despise Conda. She's a self-righteous brat. I can't believe they let Kim off the hook for her boneheaded prediction that they'd all lose 6 lbs. And when she only lost 3, I thought she was going home for sure. I think they're a fractured, dysfunctional bunch. I bet they don't win another challenge for a long time. Maybe that's just me being hopeful. Here's who I think will be in the top 4: Chism, Emily, Megan, Jeremy. |

I thought they said they needed 10.5 lbs each, 94 total. Maybe my hearing is just off. Either way they were a far cry from their goal. Black team was smart to "fold". |

Champion 8766 Evergreen, Colorado | Subject: RE: Biggest Loser I hate Conda. What a witch. And then to be all "nice" to him after she'd gotten her way? Ugh. That was frustrating to watch. Glad to see Mike doing well at home. And the red team was STUPID. The whole idea of that challenge was to underbid so that you stuck the other team with some impossible number.... |

Expert 1087 Portland | Subject: RE: Biggest Loser A few comments on last nights show: I really don't like the pink wrestler, she doesn't strike me as being particularly intelligent or a nice person. She seems quite selfish as well. She should have gone home, she was soley responsible for them losing making that bet. I think Bob was on that time of the month, he was WAY to upset over doulvet using "his" exercises. As the seasons have gone on I've noticed more of the attitude that I feel is infecting our country. When things get tough, people quit. That woman on the black team that kept sitting down is L-A-Z-Y. She isn't going to make it much farther without picking up the pace. |

Champion 5312 Calgary | Subject: RE: Biggest Loser I liked it. I thought that challenge was unfair. I don't like those challenges when it is all on one person or 2 people. It's dumb. But they did play it dumb though, super dumb. Love the drama between the trainers. I don't care if it is contrived, it is entertaining. Of course who knows, perhaps Bob was always whiny sniveling child and they just edited the other way. |

Extreme Veteran 493 Greer, South Carolina | Subject: RE: Biggest Loser Like others, I really don’t like Conda at all. But, I’m not sure yet if she’s as bad as she appears to be so far of if a lot of it is creative editing. Either way, she is showing her immaturity through her attitude and her comments. She is setting herself up for an early departure by making herself so visible. I have watched all of the seasons and in most cases, the way to make it deep into the game is to simply work hard and keep a low profile. That’s why it was incredibly stupid from my standpoint to volunteer for the challenge. Why take the chance of making yourself a target this early in the game. My 5 year old came through the den last night and was once again intrigued by “Santa.” I haven’t had the heart to tell her that it isn’t really Santa. She wants to know if Santa will still be able to eat cookies when he loses all that weight. I’m still trying to decide if I’m going to like this season. I am not particularly attached to any of the cast at this point. I usually enjoy it a lot more when I can pick a couple of players that I really like and pull for them. |

Subject: RE: Biggest Loser I loved the poker challenge. Hilarious. Interesting though that while Bob and the black team did win the weigh in...they needed the 5 pound advantage to do so. So Dolvett is still producing better numbers on the scale for the first 2 weeks. Quite a turn around from last season where Bob was just murdering Dolvett and Anna week in and week out regardless of any pound(s) advantages. |

Champion 8766 Evergreen, Colorado | Subject: RE: Biggest Loser Yes, tri808, very strange. Especially considering that Bob FOR THE MOST PART (Santa not withstanding) has the younger team. They should be crushing Dolvett. No one else mentioned this, but I like that it looks like each week will have an "excuse" theme and a bit about how to beat it. This week's being "I don't have time to eat healthy". So they had the super market trip and focused on nutrition. I hope they keep that up. It helps the show become more educational and not just drama-filled. |

Elite 3088 Austin, TX | Subject: RE: Biggest Loser dgunthert - 2012-01-04 11:55 AM I thought the same thing about the sprint. You have a bunch of overweight, out of shape people doing a sprint with (apparently) no warm up. I'm surprised only one person pulled a muscle. I liked the idea of splitting up the partners, since they really do have to be there for themselves. Of course, it leads to the question of why they bothered bringing in pairs to begin with. How about a pool? Post your picks for the 5 contestants who will make it to makeover week this season. I'll really go out on a limb and predict the order of elimination from each team! Red: Nancy, Kim S., Conda, Mark, Lauren, Mike, and Roy, leaving Kim N. and Buddy for makeovers. Black: Gail, Megan, Jeremy, Christine, and Chism, leaving Joe, Emily, and Cassandra for makeovers. We'll see how close I come. What are your picks? Well, I guess Joe screwed up my picks pretty good. |

Subject: RE: Biggest Loser This season is getting pretty entertaining. That guy who left on his own...wow...especially in a season of "no excuses". You could tell it had nothing to do with his family. His brother gets voted off and he decided to quit. Conda is a b!tch. But she's also like a train wreck. As much as you don't want to watch or listen to her...you just can't help it. Seems like Bob has finally got his team to perform. They smashed the black team on the scale overall. Santa is by far my favorite contestant. And lastly, I have no idea why the red team voted off Lauren. Nancy was the clear choice. I hate all this BS about who needs to be here more and who would be better at home. Everyone needs to be there, it's a game, vote for the weakest link. The only person I ever felt that shouldn't have been voted off early was that super fat guy from 2-3 seasons ago. He was young, short, and like 350 pounds overweight. I seriously thought he might die if he got voted off and didn't stick with the plan. |
