A couple of the guys I'm watching had 3 of the 4 bike splits posted, now neither of them have any.  Anyone else experience this?

EDIT:  2 of the 3 are back...must be some glitch...carry on.

Yea, even the professionals who are out on the run only had 2 splits.

It'll be interesting to see if the first splits that were up were correct - so they're just putting the same numbers back up, or if they're correcting an error in the timing system, and we'll see different numbers....

Best I can tell the numbers I've seen put back up are the same as the ones that came down...but who knows?

According to Bob's last update on his blog, he wanted to go 9:59 total with a:

SWIM:  54 minutes

BIKE:  5:25

RUN:  3:30

So far, he just missed the swim goal (55:55) but KILLED the bike with at 5:13:33...GOOD JOB BOB! I hope he has a good run...report from my sister out on the course is it's hot as heck, so I hope he has enough in the tank!

PennState - 2008-08-31 1:06 PM Bob is awesome, but I have noticed he's dropped to 40th already... hope that he is just working out a cramp or something, as I haven't seen a run split from him yet
Accoring the myathlete he is on 3rd street but says he is moving 0mph.  Don't know if this is a glitch or not.

Man it's wicked out there. I just got back from running one loop and I feel like passing out. Hope everyone is doing fine out there.

Interesting in seeing some of the pros struggling in person. Just like normal people. :-)

Keep kicking azz BTers!  I'm hoping Bob can hold it together and get below that 10 point.  He has a great shot at a Kona slot right now ........

Dude. It is BLAZING hot out there right now. Seriously nasty freakishly hot.

LaGrange was fun. I got a lot BT love from my HTFU sign and even met some other sherpas out there

Mike (outofshapeguy) has hit a bit of a low point on the bike, but we're hoping he shakes the funk and has a great last bike split!!!

In tracking the BT splits, it's clear that EVERYONE is slowing down, and a bunch of top athletes have demonstrated what happens if you go out too fast on a hot day like this....Bree Wee cracked. Goehner cracked. McDonald is Slowing. Hauth cracked. Andy Johns cracked.  At one time each of these folks were placed 1 or 2.

I'm hoping the BT'ers are slowing down to be conservative, staying within themselves and the weather, and being safe.

They just suffer faster than some of the rest of us.
