Pro 6191 | Subject: RE: Biggest Loser tri808 - 2012-01-18 4:02 AM This season is getting pretty entertaining. That guy who left on his own...wow...especially in a season of "no excuses". You could tell it had nothing to do with his family. His brother gets voted off and he decided to quit. Conda is a b!tch. But she's also like a train wreck. As much as you don't want to watch or listen to her...you just can't help it. Seems like Bob has finally got his team to perform. They smashed the black team on the scale overall. Santa is by far my favorite contestant. And lastly, I have no idea why the red team voted off Lauren. Nancy was the clear choice. I hate all this BS about who needs to be here more and who would be better at home. Everyone needs to be there, it's a game, vote for the weakest link. The only person I ever felt that shouldn't have been voted off early was that super fat guy from 2-3 seasons ago. He was young, short, and like 350 pounds overweight. I seriously thought he might die if he got voted off and didn't stick with the plan. Me neither. She's not a huge threat and isn't dragging the team down either. She seemed like a good one to keep around. And, seriously, someone needs to shut Conda up. I can't take her. |

Expert 1019 Muncie, IN | Subject: RE: Biggest Loser Ya, Conda had an excuse for everything. First face to face was "She cheated", second one was she 's going to beat her on the scale, last one was, I don't think the homework is important....send her butt to the corner to think about it and bring in the aqua team. Make her run for her "life" on the ranch or replace her with aqua. And the guy that quit...he seemed all chummy with Jeremy and that's why his brother was upset and went home last week. Lots more mental and social issues than pure physical issues. |

I can't believe they didn't vote Conda off. Makes me wonder if NBC wouldn't let them because they know drama brings ratings. I would have dropped her like a bad habit! |

Expert 1019 Muncie, IN | Subject: RE: Biggest Loser Kinda surprised no one on her team didn't speak up an call her out. Rulon's partner, don't remember his name, would call people out (before Rulon quit). Someone needs to take her out back and explain how it is and how it's going to be and that she may only speak or roll her eyes after every 5 pound weight loss. Her sweat should be the only thing talking. That's what Cassandra did and she was ALL smiles on the scales while Conda just glared at her. Geez, she is someone's mom. Hope she gets a grip. Nothing is her fault. |

Champion 8766 Evergreen, Colorado | Subject: RE: Biggest Loser Yep. Add me to the "why did they vote off Lauren instead of Conda" band wagon too. Conda made me SO mad last night it wasn't even funny. Did anyone else catch that she wasn't putting both hands in each square and Dolvett had to tell her TWICE (during that second face off)???? Who is the cheater now? I'm so glad Cassandra was able to put Conda in her place without having to resort to Conda's level. I would bet MONEY that Conda put the "let's vote Lauren off" seed into the Red Team to take the heat off her and leave behind a weaker link (Nancy) that will always be an "easy target". It's quite Survivor-esque really. Too bad it's the wrong show! And the guy who just left? WTF? Maybe he isn't the one who wanted to do the show but did it so his brother could go on it so once his brother was gone he saw no point in staying? Notice we didn't get an update about him... And is it me or was this week's excuse almost exactly like last week's excuse? |

Regular 109 Marietta, GA | Subject: RE: Biggest Loser I really thought Nancy was headed home. Her weight losses each week have been measly and she didn't even contribute to the team challenge this week (did she last week?). Lauren would have been a team asset in any physical challenges. Nancy will hold them back. I feel like something was going on that we don't know about. Personality conflicts? Who knows. So, with the "this person needs to be here" mentality, I guess the safest route is to play the weakest link card - "I'm so helpless I could never do this on my own"? I think it's just another poor gambling strategy for the Red Team. From the previews of next week it looks like Conda is going to get the attention she's been craving. Think she can get an attitude adjustment? |

Champion 10019 , Minnesota | Subject: RE: Biggest Loser When Conda is finally booted, it will be a cheer heard around the world. My favorite thing was when they were first paired off and Conda was talking smack about her huge loss last week. Cassandra said "it's percentages that count" and then they showed the two girl's percentages so far. We didn't realize until then that Cassandra was so high up the ladder. I am also in the "it's a game, not a charity" boat and they should be getting rid of weaklings at this point. But alas, it never goes the way I think it should. |

Subject: RE: Biggest Loser I think next weeks excuse will be... "I can't concentrate on my workout because Conda keeps b!tching about everything in my ear" What's funny is that the short clips they show of Conda's brother while Conda is being a b!tch...he looks like he's about to bury his face in his hands because he's ashamed to be related to her. I think I would too. But again...makes for good TV. Keep Conda on the show as long as possible. |

Champion 7821 Brooklyn, NY | Subject: RE: Biggest Loser And Conda's kid's name is...Brooklyn. Ugh. I hate her too. I also had the though that she put people on her team up to sending Lauren home. She's a mess and a nightmare, but is clearly a master manipulator. It'd be nice if Dolvett called her out instead of letting her make excuses. We'll see what happens next week--looks like things come to a head. I also hate the "Let's vote off the person we believe can do well on their own." it's a competition and they're going to miss Lauren, who did nothing but work hard. Instead theyre stuck with do-nothing Nancy and the Toxic Twins, Conda and Kim. |

I thought it was going to be between the "toxic twins" as well, and the whole Lauren thing caught me off guard. I wonder if it wasn't a bit of "Well, I'll vote for the person I think is least likely to get voted off that way I'm not the bad guy" and enough people thought that and it kinda did the opposite of what they thought it would. Conda reminds me of that one lady from several seasons ago who totally gamed the system and I think made it all the way to the final four (might have been the season that Ali Vincent won actually). Anyway, that lady kept driving everybody nuts too because she was a back-stabbing b-i-tung-cung-hung. I'll have to do some digging and see if I can find out what her name was. |

Champion 7821 Brooklyn, NY | Subject: RE: Biggest Loser It looks like I’ll be subjected to another week of having to look at Conda’s pi$$y mug. She’s so awful. I didn’t think she looked happy even for her brother. She’s that kind of person who talks trash endlessly when she’s ahead and then either quits, cheats, cries, or accuses the other person of cheating when she’s losing. There is a special circle in Hell for those people. I felt bad for the poor black team failing so miserably at the challenge, but I got several of those questions wrong, too. The vegetable oil thing threw me. I thought they made a decent showing, considering they didn’t have the gym at their disposal. I think sending Gail home was the right decision. Some people just aren’t able to handle the pressure of being on the ranch and she never seemed fully checked-in. I was glad to see her making progress on her own. And I know I’m not the only one on here who thought, “Wow, her swimming form is pretty good!” I felt bad for Megan but I think she’ll bounce back. She’s kind of a stealth contestant at this point—not much going on with her positively or negatively. Glad to see Chris got her act together, although I think she’s horrible to her husband and has been from the beginning. He seems like a good guy and I feel bad that he has to put up with all of her nonsense. She was the one, remember, who told him in the first episode, when they got split up, “This is going to be hard for you because of your codependency.” Uh, thanks for the pep talk, honey. Secondly, she was the one SOBBING when she lost the video chat challenge, and basically guilt-tripped her husband into giving her his prize. Then she was mean to him about his winning the challenge yesterday, then she was mean to him when he tried to talk to her during her temper tantrum. I think she’s a strong contestant and good for the black team, but I don’t care for her particularly as a person. |

Expert 758 Port Colborne, Ontario | Subject: RE: Biggest Loser One thing nobody mentioned so far; that condensed version of the show yesterday. I LOVED IT! Everything was to the point and got done in an hour. They should all be edited down like this every week. Conda has to go...if I could reach through the TV screen I'd punch her in the throat, she's that annoying to me. And you're right, Santa is way too held back with his wife. As soon as she started on him in the bathroom I would have told her to HTFU and that she's lucky to be here. |

Subject: RE: Biggest Loser I too loved the condensed hour. They jumped right into the first challenge...they showed them workout for a little while, then they did the weigh in...and you didn't have to hear that dang "beep beep beep" for every contestant. Red team pulled in some really good numbers...but it's not surprising considering how bad their numbers were last week. I think the roles will be reversed again next week. Black team will get access to the gym again, have a solid week, and red team will have lower numbers. It will be interesting to see if the Aqua team makes it back on the ranch. 50 pounds in 4 weeks (between 2 people) seems pretty reasonable...but then again they are doing it on their own. I know it's early...but the 3 people I want to see in the finale are Chism, his dad, and Santa. They seem like the only 3 normal people on the ranch. |

I looked it up, b/c I thought it was a made up name, and apparently, it is a shortened version of "Chisholm". I don't know why you wouldn't just name your kid Chisholm rather than Chism, which aside from just being weird and made-up-sounding, rhymes with a particularly nasty slang for a certain bodily fluid. Kids being kids, I'm sure poor Chism has heard that over and over since his idiot classmates were old enough to learn what the word meant. Who knows to what extent that's contributed to his low self-esteem. I’ve been saying for years that hospitals need to have a “Common Sense Nurse” stationed on all the maternity floors, so that whenever a pair of new parents come up with the brilliant idea to name their kid something horrible like “Chism” or they decide to use some crazy spelling like “Alyssyn” instead of “Alison”, the nurse can say, “Ok, honey, I think you’re just a little tired. Why don’t you lie down for a while and we can talk about it in the morning…” I can only imagine the amount of pain and suffering this would remove from the world. |

Master 1890 Cypress, CA | Subject: RE: Biggest Loser I'll admit I didn't see the whole setup for the battering ram challenge, but it looked to me like it would have been a better strategy to ignore the questions, just pick "A" and go straight through taking the mud where they found them. It seemed like the time spent puzzling over the questions was a waste, taking more time than it would have to go through a couple more mud pits. And for the "season of no excuses," doesn't it seem like there are a lot of excuses offered every week? |

Champion 8766 Evergreen, Colorado | Subject: RE: Biggest Loser So, the funniest thing to me was that on this season of "no excuses" every single black team contestant said some version of "I don't know how we can lose weight without the gym" and everyone on the red team (including the trainer!) said there's no way the other team can beat us without the gym. *sigh* #missedthepoint I didn't really like the completely compressed format. Something in between that and what they normally do would be nice. |

Subject: RE: Biggest Loser Very interesting episode tonight. At first, I was really behind Adrian. He seemed like he came in ready to work hard, but I guess that's the power of production editing. Conda is still a ...but Adrian's comments at the elimination table was way out of line especially after he and his sister did the bare minimum to keep their immunity. I'm not certain they did it on purpose...but you can't deny it's highly probable. What I find interesting is that the last 2 seasons...contestants have been losing a lot less weight. 3-5 seasons ago, all the bigger contestants were losing 10+ pounds...week after week. I think one contestant broke a record by losing 10+ pounds 7 weeks in a row. This season...it seems like people over 300 pounds are overjoyed when they lose 8 pounds. Now...I'm not saying that people over 300 pounds should be losing 10 pounds per week because that's not what happens in the real world. I actually think it sends a better message to overweight people watching the show that losing 3-4 pounds a week is actually a really good thing. It's just an observation I made the past 2 seasons. But I also think that the contestants don't work nearly as hard as previous seasons. I'm guessing that NBC might be casting more people that will cause more "dramas" on the ranch rather than people they think are more determined to win. So far, I think it's working.

She really needs to grow up! On a season of no excuses se apparently is all excuses. Look to yourself and SHUT UP! Maybe she should have approached Adrian and said that she and her brother share the same situation as Adrian and his sister and then try to befriend him. Even if he is a threat to her and she wants him gone. At least that would show some strategy. Instead all she spews is insecurities that a 5 year old would exhbit. And the other red team girl that hates Adrian (I do not remember her name) has the scariest stare! If either of these women win, I will stop watching this show cold turkey! |
