Last week was a little over 18 miles, so I'm at 41 so far for the month.  About even with the pace bunny.

I ramp up to 20 this week and hold there through February as I start to re-introduce some quality runs.

Everyone is doing great! Pace bunny is at 54.8 miles today.

Mike, your 20 miles per week is gonna be spot on to put you ahead of that bunny. Then you'll leap ahead of that little furry being.

Jo, my hubby's Junkie friend, welcome!

Mary, 14 miles...WooHoo!!!!

I was behind the bunny because of improper taper but finished the Louisiana Marathon yesterday to put me slightly ahead of the bunny. Alas I will fall behind due to recovery but I'll catch that bunny later. {FWIW. I highly recommend Louisiana Marathon or HM....stunning course, flat and fast, great organization, incredible volunteers, beautiful weather.}

I'm at 50.5 miles today, which is only about 4 behind the pace rabbit. This week is the first week when my mileage for the week will out pace the bunny's! Now I start catching up.

Currently at 79 miles so putting some distance between me and the bunny.  I think that is about to change though as I look forward and decide what my training plan is going to look like.  I have been running every day since Thanksgiving, which has been fun but I am not sure I can keep that up and still get quality bike/swim wo's into the mix.   Combine that with my decision to not do a spring HM, or at least not "race" one and the miles are going to slow down.

I am still behind at 47 miles.
I am hoping to be at 75 miles by the end of the month and catch up the pace bunny early February.

Got 100 miles in but the last few days have been brutal due to the cold weather. maybe it will warm up soon so and we can enjoy running again.

I'm at 66.88 miles, -4.36 behind the pace bunny, but I'm gunning for him now. My weekly mileage is over the threshold to keep up, which means I can start gaining!

I'm having the best running training month of my life.  At 155 so far and ready to ramp it up a tad more.  I'm looking forward to a few marathons over the next couple of months so hope it all pays off.

Only 14 miles  last week...55 total for January so far.  I missed my long run on Saturday due to some house issues and my knee was a little swollen anyway.  I figured the extra day off wouldn't hurt and today all is well.

155 is impressive, congrats!

I think I am also having my best month ever with 65 miles so far, and I don't count the soccer games.

Ok January is almost over, ya'll get primed up for February. If you didn't meet your January goal, it not to late to meet February's and hopefully the weather will be better.

Good Luck and enjoy your run!

OK, checking in for January!

76.14 miles- I'm behind Mr Rabbit who is at 84.94. I'll catch him yet! And I am thrilled to have run so many miles in January too. especially given the super cold weather we've been having

Goal for Feb: at least match January's mileage on 3 fewer days. That also would match the pace rabbit for the month. Hopefully I'll do better, but at a minimum no further behind!

About 70 miles in the books for January...February is about the same in my training plan.  We need to be at 83-ish per month so I'll be a little behind, but should make that up when I start hitting 90/100 in March/April.

Finished with 107 miles, so on pace for 1000+, Happy with the month since I dropped out a lot of run miles over the last week as I picked up some bike miles. I will now need to work on balancing everything, especially when swimming comes into the game!

January's in the books.  175 miles.  It was really a good month for me.  My biggest goal now is too keep going without getting hurt.

42+miles for me.  I obviously mis-posted earlier in the thread, I wasn't at 36 at that point...

Poupen, I just realized that you are in my neck of the woods.  I am just outside of Vancouver.  Well, a little ways outside.  At the end of the Skytrain line to be exact.  I can't say the name or the jokes will start...

Congrats!
I have one in April too. My first.

153 so far for me. I can tell a difference in my running by doing more miles. I am really enjoying it!

Have a great weekend everyone.

Great job. Everyone is doing great.

I'm behind that rabbit with only 68 miles. Recovery from the mary and just plain ole cold weather has me running less but now I'm about ready to start back running regularly. I have no running races on the horizons so I'll be freewheeling it for a month or two. Let's see what happens.

Congrats to those that kept up with the bunny in January and to those that hit 100, 150 and even 175 miles! That's awesome!

I'm a little behind the bunny at this point with 60 miles for January. This month broke my six month streak of running 100 miles or more but that's ok. Plenty of time to catch up.

I think quite truly for the first time I 'get it'. It's not just about the fitness. It's not just about the great little endorphin rush as you hit 5, 10, 15 miles...its not just the medal at the end.
