Can't wait to read all about your accomplishments in 2018! Oh, and that puppy picture is SO CUTE!!! |

Pennsylvania | Subject: RE: Manatee Mayhem Part Deux - 2017 Edition I'm a little late to the streaming video content party, but I would like to concur that Ozark, Stranger Things, and The Killing have been favorites of mine. I'm also a fan of Shameless, Broadchurch, The Ranch, (all Netflix), as well as The Handmaid's Tale (Hulu) and Transparent (Amazon, although now with Jeffery Tambor out because of sexual harassment allegations, no telling where that will go). Naturally Game of Thrones on HBOGo. I've got a ton of things on my watch list that I need time to get to! |

I'm looking forward to more great adventures in 2018. i was so focused on the puppy picture I forgot to comment on your year of running! I’m glad you made such great memories and learned about yourself -now comes Dopey...that should provide a year’s worth of memories by itself!! And here’s my little guy, at the vets waiting for booster shots. ETA, I have no idea why some times the photo posts and other times it comes as an attachment! I have my work cut out for me before Kevin cancels Netlfix ;-) He always hands me the remote and says to put something on. I will list shows and he always says to skip Stranger Things, etc. I'm not gonna ask anymore. I have to finish it before Mozart in the Jungle is back in February anyway. Speaking of which, I'll add to the list:

I couldn't get into mozart :/ Loved season 1 of the man in the high castle. I don't know why I keep forgetting that season 2 is out....... maybe I watch too much tv. or maybe I spend to much time on the trainer! |

Master 8248 Eugene, Oregon | Subject: RE: Manatee Mayhem Part Deux - 2017 Edition While on the subject of cute fur children, am submitting a "selfie" I just helped our new fur kid take. We adopted Shelby yesterday from a rescue shelter here in Boise. She and her friend Benitez (whom we sadly couldn't take--parents want only one cat) were left there after fallout from a divorce and custody battle--unclear if over cats or children. Dad said he wanted a sociable cat and she and Benitez (yes, also female!) were hands-down the winners. (Gave up on Benny after she could not be detached from a volunteer who said he would probably end up adopting her anyway!) She is four years old, loves tummy rubs, and, I think, looks like a mini-bobcat. In other news, I saw a podiatrist here in Boise for a second opinion about my foot issues. He redid the x-rays and ultrasound as he felt they had been done incorrectly in Saigon and the MRI report from there indicated a possible neuroma, just not in a typical shape. He was able to see the neuroma clearly on the ultrasound using a different technique. Since it seems to be getting better, I'm going the conservative route for now with some new orthotics that are designed to take the pressure off the nerve, while building up run time gradually as long as it's not aggravating things. If that doesn't work, they can do cortisone injection or surgery to cut the nerve--hopefully it won't need to come to that. Just wish I could have figured this out sooner! I hear Doctor Foster is good but haven't been able to watch it.Amazon: Start Up, Roadies, Preacher, Sneaky Pete.Oh, and definitely watch Dark on Netflix. It's a badly dubbed German program, but you get past that quickly. |

Master 8248 Eugene, Oregon | Subject: RE: Manatee Mayhem Part Deux - 2017 Edition Happy Birthday Janyne, and Merry Christmas to all who celebrate. We are definitely having a White Christmas here in Idaho. Three or four inches on the ground from Friday night's snow and more started falling just as it got dark. Still falling now at 7 PM. Shelby the Christmas cat is settling into her new home well (the first night here, she was in my bed before I was!) and enjoying a nap by the fire on Mom's lap. |

We are currently in the staging area, waiting for the BT gods to place us in the live environment. You *migh*t be able to find a link to the "Next" thread below the table in my blog, but I don't think we are supposed to be posting in there yet. IIRC, the way it worked in the last couple of years was that we were one of the last threads to be rolled out. |
