It's a Chevy

Fancy, schmancy add-on. Was that part of package "Q", the one where they package a rear-view mirror, FM radio AND turn signals??

Well, been not trying to think about it.  Gobbled down a radioactive iodine pill the other day so it could search out any rogue thyroid cancer cells running roughshot in the bod.

Today I get a scan to see if I glow.  If not?  Good news.  If I light up like a Christmas tree?  Yikes...

All part of the process and I'm sure it's no big deal.  Still get a little nervous though.

is this your first "check" since your radiation treatment for the cancer?

Yes.....and all maintenance included for the first 2 months or 1,800 miles.

It was worth the extra cost.

Will be sending you good vibes and hope that you're non-Christmas tree-ish!

My milk to cereal ratio was way off this morning.  I was a little sad about it until I added more cereal - voilá!  Problem solved.

#firstworldproblems

I know!!!  Kind of like almost forgetting my phone when I went to "text" the other day.  I would have been SO bored without the crossword puzzle app!

FB and Angry Birds don't work while "texting" your hubby??

I think I'm one of the few that doesn't play Angry Birds... and being on FB whilst on the texter just seems like I've got a bunch of people in there with me.

I like to do crosswords!

I played a couple dozen levels then quite.

I liked Cut the Rope for games sort of like that.  It's more problem solving though.

I didn't even make it through a couple dozen levels before I quit the Angry Birds thing.  I've got Cut the Rope too, but somehow always end up going back to the crossword puzzles.

First BIG check.  They keep tabs 4-6 times a year with bloodwork.  If my thyroid levels are out of whack, it could indicate something.  An ultrasound every couple of years as a check.  But this is the big week long radiation test.  I'm not sure how often I will have to do it.  There is always close monitoring the first few years, then it slows down.  After five?  It may only be once or twice a decade.

ME TOO.  Long week with lots of work stress, and I wasn't allowed to eat ANYTHING for the last 36 hours.  I just had a greek yogurt.  I'm hoping some calories picks me up.

I'm thinking I will take the afternoon off...  I have to decide still.

I'm a Soduku addict when it comes to killing time on my phone, always have 4 puzzles going (different grid layouts).

Started Friday right by hitting the beach to catch some of the swell hitting the west coast this weekend.  Managed a few good waves before I had to head in to work.  The rest of the weekend is chock full of fun activities so I'm sure the work day is going to drag by slowly as I look forward to a fun weekend.

T-minus 1.5 hours until the weekend. Big doubleheader tomorrow against the team with the best name in the league, The Aviators, and then possibly a movie day on Sunday with the pretty one.

I got a text from him around 1:30p that simply said "Movie and More on Sunday???"

Guess he's just hoping by asking a bunch that someone will say yes.

There's no "possibly" about it (this is assuming that I'm the pretty one?), Sunday is going to be movie day!  After we go running in the morning.
