Champion 34263 Chicago | Subject: RE: TAN #64 - A Case of Temporary InTANity Aikidoman - 2009-01-21 9:38 AM Mini rant about television reporters trying to fill time... They were interveiwing the 'butler' (it's not what he was called, but that's what he is) of the White House. They asked him what if the President want something special to eat at night. His answer was, "we ask him what he wants and we get it for him." Then he was asked what if the President wanted any kind of magazines to read in the White House. His answer was, "we ask him what he wants and we get it for him." Then he asked what if the President want any kind of special items like shaving cream or something. His answer was (and this time he was starting to look amused), "we aks him what he wants and we get it for him."
Why don't they get it? He's the PRESIDENT!!! They get him whatever he wants!!!! How many examples to you need to ask to understand that!!! If it were me, I would've thrown in a `trip-up' question like a cop. What do you do if he wants something special to eat at night? What do you do if he wants certain magazines to read? What do you do if he wants a 13-year-old Thai boy? What do you do if he wants any kind of special items like shaving cream or something? |

But don't you think 200lbs is low for your height? Just sayn'....I'm sure you wife doesn't want to pounce on skin and bones?!.....aidana - 2009-01-21 7:34 AM Aikidoman - 2009-01-21 9:32 AM mr2tony - 2009-01-21 7:24 AM Aikidoman - 2009-01-21 9:22 AM Yeah but you're gonna be, uh, skinnier?I got 9-10 hours of sleep last night and still feel tired. Early moring workouts added to significant cutback in calories is doing a number on me... According to the calcs, to get to 10% body fat, I need to get to 200 lbs or so. That's 40 lbs I need to lose. So that's my 'goal' but I may stop anywhere after getting to 220, if I look and RACE well.... How tall are you? 6'7"-6'8" Oh yeah, AND I'm just as long all over.... Just saying... You know porportionate |

I was finishing up my workout (swam a total of 1900yds, wanted to go for 2k) doing cool-down laps, breaststroke instead of freestyle. Had inteded to do 200yds for cool-down, but right after I turned around at 75yds both of my quads and my right hamstring spasmed all at once. I was very happy I was in the shallow end of the pool where I could just stand up. an adventure... I realized It's much harder to do my swim workouts in the moring. I can get a lane anytime during the day, except then, I realized. There we so many old ladies just hanging out in the lanes yapping it up and doing a little bounce around thing.... Aggrevating. All of them could easily been in one lane and still have PLENTY of room if they spread out. But it was two per lane, at one end of the pool, yapping it up. |
