Stock market analyst for an investment management shop... Yes, those are great times to begin a career in the business! lol

I accumulate stress during the day, then punish the crank for it when I come back! If the markets keep on going down, I should be in pretty good shape when the spring comes Foot in mouth

Radiology resident. It was really tough to train for marathons and do residency for the past two years - at least twice I literally ran 20-22 mile runs after being up for nearly 36 hours due to on-call duties. (Blame Dean Karnazes' book for giving me the crazy idea that I could do it.) However, it's better now as a more senior resident, and hopefully with get easier in the upcoming year - so I can train for an ironman!

I am a professional flutist, wife, mother of 2 boys, ages 2 and 5, and part-time spin instructor at my local Y.  I teach at 2 colleges for a total of 3 days per week out of the house.  When I am performing I have a lot of evening and weekend work.  Wow--I'm tired, now that I think about it!! I do have summers off and a fantastic husband, so I can't complain!!

I'm a convention manager. Training used to be difficult because I was on the road so much, but in the last year and a half my job scope changed and I'm not traveling as much (thank goodness). Fortunately I telecommute two days a week and my manager is very into fitness so she understands if I want to leave early or take a long lunch to get a workout in the other days (as long as my work is up to date ).

No kids, here, so I have too much freedom to not be getting more done!

I'm a full-time student at the US Air Force Academy. I take between 18-21 credit hours a semester and have to deal with all the military training and homework and still find time to train. Even though I'm on the school's team, we don't get any special privileges to go out and train, and must find the time on our own.

Great terrain around here for hill workouts, and the altitude (7258 feet above sea level) is a plus too!

Was a firefighter/paramedic so had tons of time to train, I can't think of a single other occupation that gives so much time off.  But now I'm a full-time student in a Master's Physician Assistant program.  I had no time to train last year, but I'm now on clinical rotations so can usually fit it in. After I graduate late next year and get a job, who knows what kind of time I'll have to train so I'm using my time to the fullest right now.

I am a proposal manager (writer/editor, mostly) for an aerospace company and am desperately looking for a way out. Not sure how I ended up here. I also teach part time for an online university. No kiddies, just a hubby, dog, and cats. I fit training in either in the a.m. before work (which is way early so not often) or after work. I don't do the 9-5 (or, in my case, 7:30-5) schedule very well, so probably need to figure out how to turn my talents into a free-lance adventure that actually earns the dollars that will support my silly tri habit.

26 year old Marketing Coordinator for a bank....married a year and a half (been together just over 8 years). Hubby and I used to train together (I got him hooked on cycling) but now that he's a second year surgery resident - time is slim for training. During the next two years (lab years) we are both thinking of training for an IM (shhh). No kids, no pets, no shoes, no shirt, no problems.
