John&Kate Plus Eight

I've seen interviews with them, but never the show.

I'm just waiting for "Nadya Plus 14."  that's gonna be a riot.

This week was one of the worst. Her body language during their interview was horrible. They were leaning away from each other the whole time, she did not smile, had her hand on her face. She kept interrupting him during his stories and recap of the episode. The kicker was that she was out of town on "business" during the day that they taped, so the whole episode was about Jon playing with the kids. He finally snapped at her and said "were you there? you want to tell the story?" I was so proud of him!

Its horrible, but I was thinking that it would be great if he ran off and left her. Bad for the kids of course, but she is a b*tch to him.

I used to feel the same way, before I started watching the show regularly.  She's definitely over the top in a lot of ways, but I do think she means well.  The kids are pretty naughty a lot of the time, so I can see why she is harried.  They (Jon and Kate) are usually are pretty nice to each other, and I have no doubt editing makes it look worse.  I do think they spend too much time togther and having a new and much bigger house will help. 

Now if you want to see scary controlling stuff, watch the show after called 17 kids and Counting.  Or actually it will be 18 Kids and... this new season, since they had a baby at the end of last season.  Really nice family that really means well, I do believe, but MAN do they have rules!

Neither of them work any more...all of their income (from what I understand) comes from "speaking engagements" and TLC cash. Ever notice the vacations they take? You think they are paying for them on an "IT analyst's" salary? Think John is bankrolling that sweet $1.35MM house?

And people rag on the Octuplet Mom for looking for handouts...

yea but after the show ends and he is all alone the Govt is going to make him pay child support for their continued support...
I bet she would get allamony also...

i can't really stand the show either. Kate is wound a little to tight for me. The constant interruption and "my way or the highway" mentality drives me crazy.

 and after reading the aunt's blog, that kinda made me sicker.

Well, I can't speak for other people but I NEVER speak to or treat my husband is such a disrespectful manner and would be highly embarassed if I was caught doing so.  She is giving her children such a horrible example of what a relationship should be.

Completely agree. How can you tell your kids not to hit each other if you hit your husband in front of them?

She just drives me crazy.  I could go on and on.  I think she's exploiting the kids.

See...I thought it was just me.
