I don't. Round butts are easier to conceal and don't print as badly...

Oh, you're not talking about revolvers?

My first thought when I saw that commercial was that I am not sure a fast food place should be trying to sell burgers with a song that celebrates big booties.  Just a thought, but maybe not the message they want to send. Although it does meet truth in advertising implications...

My thought is there is no reason for a fast food resteraunt to use a childs cartoon to get kids to focus on square butts shaking on the tv.  I'm just sayin.....

Yeah and Sir Mix-A-Lot saying Booty is Booty at the end just leads to unnecessary questions from a 5 year old!

seems much more appropriate for a Wendy's commercial.

Burger King - no matter how you slice it, he still looks like a pedophile.  I thought I hated that character, that franchise, and their commercials, now that just sealed it.

First time I saw this commercial I could NOT believe my eyes/ears. Seriously, Burger King? You're trying to sell kids meals by altering a music video whose original lyrics are:

That when a girl walks in with an itty bitty waist
And a round thing in your face
You get sprung

But that butt you got
Make Me so horney

She's Sweat,Wet, got it goin like a turbo vette

I wanna get you home
And UH, double up UH UH

 That's funny right there...

The commercial... tasteless, which matches the food they are peddling.

First time I saw it I thought it was a joke/parody of the BK ads.

Then I realized it wasn't and just laughed and shook my head.

The "King" is a freaky nightmare kind of guy to begin with.  Putting this spin on him makes him more in the funny/parody realm.

I don't eat there though, so I don't really care about the ads for anything other than entertainment value.

I usually love the King ads because he is so unintentionally disturbing but this was just strange mix of innapropriate targeting, happy memories of that song and the worst use of a cartoon character I've seen in a while.

I am glad to see that I am not the only one that finds the King a little disturbing. My daughter always laughs when the commercials come on with him because she knows how much he gives me the willies

Don't understand the connection at all. SpongeBob and Sir Mix?  The end line of "booty is booty" was way over the line to try and sell a kids meal.

Also I hate the "Jr Whopper kid" telling his father "the Whopper" to get his head out of his bun commercial. My kids think it is funny, but I rue the day one of my own tells me to pull my head out of anything!

Not taking my kids to Burger King

Who are they targeting?
It can't be the children, they don't know that song from Barney.
It can't be the people who remember the song as "cool" but now have kids... they all think it's sick and wrong.
It can't be the people who remember the song as "cool" but DON'T have kids... they are marketing kids meals.
It can't be the people who are too old to remember that "cool" song, they have no idea what that song is.

Worked, you know who they are and what they are selling...I laughed when I saw it the first time...I did not want the kids to watch it.  But I knew they had spongebob at BK.  Bought my kid a happy meal or whatever they call it there the other day.

I think they were targeting me...36 with kids.  I only see it at night now.

I am also appalled by this commercial, which a combination of a song demeaning women, a cherished (albeit annoying) child's cartoon character, and a creepy pedophilic "King."

Haha I think it's hilarious.

Not quite. I don't have kids and if I did, I wouldn't buy them this kids meal probably solely because of this commerical.
It only "works" if you buy what they are selling.
