Not sure if anyone in the UFC has an answer for Lesnar. He's just way too big.

GSP is a gentleman and the best p4p fighter in the world right now.

I thought Lesnar was pretty funny actually. He was doing his WWE thing to a T.

Loved to see Bisping get dropped. He actually said he was going to be the first to KO Henderson. Bisping has no power and can't wrestle. Hendo was a bad match-up for him.

I thought the Belcher Akiyama fight was very entertaining.

I really think Belcher won that fight. That was a shame.

I heard they found Bisping's jaw in row CC. That was one of those KO's where you wonder if the dude will ever get up.

GSP should probably move up just for the challenge. There really aren't many 170 guys that would even give him a good fight. He manhalded Fitch (D1 wrestler) and Alves (huge welterweight with a wicked striking game that hughes was unable to take down), so he should move up to 185, fight a top 5 guy there, and then fight silva if he wins.

I really wanted to see the Jon Jones-O'brien fight too. I was hoping for some quick KO's on the ppv card, so they might slide that one in there.

The fight I was looking forward the most was Henderson and Bisping. Glad that Bisping got the snot beat out of him.

Was rooting for Mir and was hoping that Lesnar would make some mistake. When Lesnar was making his speech at the end, seemed like Lesnar forgot he was in the UFC and not the WWE.

griffin is going to get a pants down spankin from silva.  he may not have the quitting mentality, but when you're mind goes black from a leg kick, its all over.  i was actually surprised that he got away that easy from rampage jackson.  rampage should have owned him that fight.
Gsp has class.
lesnar is a meathead.

While I agree that Lesnars comments were showboating, I also attribute it to adrenalin and all the trash talk Mir had been doing leading up to the fight.  Also, he said "I might just go home and get on MY wife" not his wife.

I was more disturbed that nothing was said to Henderson when he publicly admitted he knew he was out and gave him a little more.  You can do serious damage to a person while fighting, even worse if they have no guard at all.  Talk smack, don't do something that could possibly lead to death or serious bodily harm. (Note, it was an awesome hit though)

I am not big on GSP.  He is an awesome athlete and probably the best at what he does but this leaves almost all his fights as an expected turn out.  Not downing him, but I like if there is a possibility that you don't know who may win.  My wife digs him though, can't get over his legs and thighs.

I think I might cut him some slack on that.  It happened so fast and I would bet he didn't know FOR SURE at the time he was out and the ref didn't step in yet.  They have been trained to finish them when the oportunity comes up.  I sort of think it was a bit of talk when he mentioned that he added the last one for "good measure/to shut him up".  The second strike was instinct IMO, and not a conscious decision to land one more, even though he said that in the post fight interview.  It makes for a good sound bite.

But I could be wrong.

I can't wait to see Lesnar get his face pounded in.

And here is just the guy to do it.

I think Fedor would destroy Lesner if the UFC could get The Last Emperor to come over.

I think fedor would win that one too. But, he would be giving up about 50-55 lbs on fight night. And its one thing to give up 55 lbs to Fats Sylvia, and quite another to give up 55 lbs to Lesnar. Mir rattled Lesnar with his hand speed at the beginning of round 2, and Fedor would do the same thing, except with power behind them. I think Fedor would win by armbar or choke.

Fedor has 1 fight left on his contract with Affliction (August I believe), and White has said he is going after hime with an "open checkbook".

I'm a Lesnar fan personally and I would love to see him fight Fedor. However I think Fedor would kill him.

My kid watches Madascar 2 too much.

While watching UFC 100, all I could do is keep calling Lesnar "Moto-Moto".

Super T - 2009-07-12 6:06 PM GSP doesn't get enough credit. Guy is pound for pound, the best fighter in the world.

x2 on this.  Honestly he controlled that whole fight

For Brock.  Ehh not really Mir wasn't really doing all much during the fight.

Happy with the PPV though!

x2!!!

just saw that White has "tentatively" planned for the winner of Shane Carwin v. Cain Velasquez in UFC 104 to fight Lesner for his title. As they pursue  Fedor, of course. Shane has been saying some not so nice (but true) things about Lesner and his lack of professionalism last week.

It is still amazing to see that people in our society still don't realize how much fans appreciate humility with talent. If anyone saw the Rich Franklin / Henderson fight, you would have seen two guys bow to each other. During the fight, Hendo had a groin kick and you immediatley saw the remorse. When they came out Hendo reached out and you could see him apologize for the accident.  It was a classy fight.

That said, it was great seeing Henderson knock Bisping to the mat.  I liked Bisping up until I saw him on TUF.  I never liked Rampage until I saw him on TUF and it was easy to see what a cool person he was.

lesnar's post fight antics were a by-product of his WWF days.  it was salesmanship.  and no matter how pissed off Dana White acts publicly, he's high fiving Lesnar behind the scenes b/c everybody loves to hate a villian.  villians sell tickets.  and everybody will watch Lesnar's fights hoping he gets his azz beat.  it would be in Dana White's best interest money wise, if Lesnar continued to win and continued to act like a jackazz.  think about Tito Ortiz.  he ran his mouth like no one else, and people loved to watch him fight.  and even better is when there is a good guy vs. the villian.  ie Chuck Liddell vs. Tito Ortiz.  Those fights were huge!! Don't get me wrong, I love guys like Hendo and Franklin and GSP.  they are class acts.  but not fighting each other.  give me the classic battle of good vs. evil any day of the week.  Fedor vs. Lesnar...hopefully.

Nobody's mentioned Lyoto Machida. I think he's also a class act. Talks a little trash but over all very respectful. I also think that an interesting fight would be Machida vs Silva, although it could be a boring since there styles are somewhat similiar. This will probably happen since Silva has moved up to 205 to fight Forest.
