Subject: RE: I survived, the Cervelo P1 did not.Glad you're ok and don't have any major injuries. The fork picture looks extremely familiar to me, my bike heads to the shop today for an estimate from my wreck on Monday. Your P1 is a little more expensive and I think sustained more damage than mine. Don't hesitate too much to call their insurance company and make sure they open an incident report though. Oh... and they shouldn't need your auto insurance information since your car wasn't involved. I just called yesterday about my accident and their insurance company asked me for my car insurance information. I simply/nicely told them that my car was not involved and I'd prefer not to give them that information since it's not relevant, but if for some reason the adjuster keeps asking for it to just tell him to call me. I'm trying to avoid any bickering/fighting between companies over who's going to pay for the damages. I think the lady on the line simply wrote "N/A" on her form for my insurance info. Good luck with everything, oh and don't mention that you had your head down to their insurance company. Don't even give them a reason to think they don't have to pay. Also, check your state laws about if any day time reflectors are required just in case they ask. Glad you walked away. |
