Hope you have a better race this year - sorry about the wetsuit grief. And dudes I am a kayaker for the Half and will also do whatever volunteering job needs to be done later during the race - last year I marked people on the run. Some of those suckers would not slow down and I got in quite a few sprints chasing them down with my black magic marker :-D See you there. I did the Giant Acorn version of this race in October and it was great.

There is a shop in Richmond that has been renting them....I think they're going to stop this year though. Bonzai rents them, and has deals where if you rent -> buy you get back your rental credit. I highly recomment renting a suit first before buying. In some race expo's that are lakeside you can also try out suits as part of a demo program (in case you're interested in buying). I'm certainly looking forward to this race this year though! |

I know at the Lake Anna tri (other side of the lake), there's a campground and all. But this is a bit of a ways away, and appears to lack that. My thinking is that I'm basically there the entire weekend, and it looks fairly cheap to rent an RV via places like RVAmerica. |

I've never seen a mass start in a Setup race. |
