I'm new to the thread and I admit I haven't read all 11 pages but I wanted to add my favorite peanut butter treats

1- A warm strawberry pop-tart slathered with Creamy Jif is HEAVEN.

2- For some reason I love grahm cracker peanut butter 'sandwiches' with a tall glass of milk. INSTANT CALORIES!

I certainly don't count peanut butter as an indulgence either! It **IS** a necessity! I have a PBJ sandwich EVERY morning and I **DO** think of the ODE TO PEANUT BUTTER every morning... even though I haven't memorized the words... I know an ode exists, and that's enough for me... Oh, and a haiku too, thanks to Chris Coredump. (!!!) Right now I'm off to go ride my new tubed bike. I could have used some peanut butter to plug up the holes in my tires Saturday AM. I will try not to slather myself in the nutty creamy substance we call heaven... but I can make no guarantees. I will be wearing a camisole. Hang onto your hats. Whizzzzzzzzzzz

ummm... I had a PB& Banana sandwich for breakfast... in my PJs (which includes a camisole).

I have a camisole-shaped sun burn from my Sat ride on my new bike... which is as smooth as extra-creamy PB on a hot day!

Vegemite? Our Aussie relations brought me some two years ago. It's still in the cupboard. It's probably gone bad by now, but how can you tell? I can't even get ants to eat the stuff.

You guys are not fair!

I gave up peanuts/peanut butter last year when I found out my youngest son has a peanut allergy.

I've avoided all peanuts/peanut butter since then, but you wouldn't believe how tough it has been. There are even some foods I can't eat because they've been prepared in either peanut oil or on machines that produce peanut/peanut butter foods (like chocolate).

Pardon the pun, but talk about nuts!

(Long live peanut butter!! I miss you!!!)

Vegemite's okay . . . but Marmite is better (ducks rotten fruit from both the peanut butter group and the vegemite group)

I`m not sure if it`s been mentioned, but I LOVE PB and banana with honey on toasted whole wheat bread. My other favorite is PJ and J with nacho cheese doritos inside (or fritos if I`m in a pinch).

These are two of my favorite meals, although it`s tough to find authentic nacho cheese doritos in Japan.
