Transition 1
Comments: Good transition to Barry on the bike. He grabbed the timing chip and took off. He learned to put his shoes on the bike beforehand and he said that helped a lot, in terms of saving time. Bike
Comments: Barry rocked this bike, considering how windy it was. The course was 2 laps out and back so he hit wind 2 times. He said he passed everyone except for one person, which won the overall race! :) Transition 2
Comments: I had trouble putting the timing chip on my ankle..other than that, it was fine. Run
Comments: Run was okay. This is not my strongest area, so I really struggled to run fast. I got passed by practically everyone, including a 10 year old kid. (Go ahead and laugh here). :) Run was through sand at some points. Yuck! But, I felt I did pretty good all in all. Definitely need to run LOTS! Post race
Warm down: Good food table- bananas, muffins, bagels, Energice, etc. Event comments: Great race. First time doing a relay and I really enjoyed it. Would do it again for sure. :) So proud of my team!! Last updated: 2005-10-16 12:00 AM

Ate 1/2 bagel w/ cream cheese. Met Laura at 5:45, drove to Miami Beach. This was a relay race for us, so Laura swam (she was a swimmer in High School), Barry biked, and I ran.
FYI: times are approximate as they have not yet posted the results online...
Ran with Barry for a little bit, then walked around. Ran some more after Barry left on the bike.
