I had compartment syndrome my whole life until last may when I got both anterior compartments released. Now I'm slowly working on building the base miles I was never able to accomplish in years past. bike- 102 miles (last 2 years) swim- about a mile & 1/2 |

Didn't realize this thread was posted 2x...I replied to the red-headed step child version first 26.2 mile run - upgrading to 50 miles in November 80ish mile ride - will get a few 100+ rides this season 5200m masters swim - that was plenty

Everyone has to start somehwere and distances are all relative to the individual. All people have to do to get the longer distances is train to build a base and endurance, not injure themselves in the attempt to do longer distances, and find the freakin TIME to do those distances. Now speed, thats another story. I have NO idea on that subject. Congratulations on an awesome start and keep it up. |
